00:24We heard that Larry Ellison loves to sail, so we wanted to try it out ourselves.

00:40I've never been sailing before. I've been on a boat many times.
00:44My family loves to fish, but it's never been anything as involved as this.
00:48We're out here on a J-24, a very common teaching boat.
00:52And today we're going to go over tacking, jiving, wind direction,
00:57and really just getting comfortable with the boat in general.
01:00And our main goal is to get Christina ready for racing tomorrow.

01:33I think Christina did really well today. I could definitely see an improvement from when we first got out on
01:38the boat this morning to our evening sail.
01:41I think she definitely got a hang of steering.

01:47As well as kind of what the functionality of the lines were, and just an overall sense of where the
01:51wind is coming from.
01:54I really think I got better at tacking and jiving and understanding the position of the wind in relationship to
02:01the sails and the boat.
02:03So I feel like I have a better understanding of how the whole process functions now, which I hope is
02:09going to help tomorrow during racing.
02:10I am frankly terrified that we're going to collide into another boat.
02:14I've never been in a race, and it's only my second day of sailing, but Charlotte seems really capable and
02:21confident.
02:22So I'm going to rely on her for a lot of the direction, and I hope we do our best.

05:10So since we were late for our first race,
05:11we ended up not doing so hot.
05:13But we did have a better start in the second and third race,
05:16which I thought was a lot better.
05:17So we just finished three races.
05:19And unfortunately for the first two, we came in dead last.
05:22But the second one, we were able to get our mark rounding
05:25a little bit more on point.
05:27And I think that helped us.
05:28I don't know how Larry Ellison does it.
05:29I mean, he's a CEO of a company with a much busier schedule
05:33than mine.
05:33And I'm exhausted.
