Nicole shares this Alaskan peanut butter ice cream pie recipe that’s both quick and indulgent in this video. Frosted Flakes and peanut butter form the crust to spoon rich coffee ice cream into and chilled until set. Top it off with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and whipped cream and enjoy a simple sweet treat without the hassle of baking.

00:00This really does feel like a homemade pie,
00:02but without the homemade work.
00:04What I think makes this dessert sound so delicious
00:06is the crust, because it is a combination
00:09of Frosted Flakes and peanut butter,
00:11and I'm here for that.
00:11Kinda like when you do Rice Krispie Treats,
00:13you gotta start with something to kinda glue it together,
00:15so that is going to be a combination
00:16of peanut butter and white corn syrup,
00:19and I'm just gonna microwave this for about a minute.
00:21Once the peanut butter mixture is hot,
00:23give it a little mix, and now we stir in our crushed cereal.
00:27I feel like I could just eat this part with a spoon.
00:29Then we take this and just press it into a pie plate,
00:31and then all you have to do is spoon in your ice cream.
00:34You wanna let it soften a little bit
00:36so that it's easier to spread in here.
00:38Get that ice cream into a smooth, even layer.
00:41To the freezer we go.
00:42It's frozen, looks beautiful,
00:44and we're gonna make it look even more beautiful.
00:46Ooh, that is a tall pie.
00:48I feel like it needs this.
00:49Mm-hmm.
00:52Mm, I'm glad I made that crust thick,
00:55because to me, it is all about the crust.
00:57It's almost given Reese-y cups,
00:58because you know how that peanut butter in there
01:00has a little bit of a crunch to it,
01:01with the chocolate on top.
01:03Mm.
01:03Mm-hmm.
