00:01well this really is a cup of joy because we can announce that andy summers is home from the
00:09hospital what a great great thing to report yeah that was fast man i know so a little perspective
00:20obviously uh if maybe you're new to the andy summer show andy was diagnosed with breast cancer
00:27a couple of months ago she shared her journey on the air yeah ultimately found out it was stage one
00:35and but that she was going to need to get a double mastectomy yeah so she said all right let's
00:40just do
00:41it and so she had surgery now two days ago 10 a.m is when she reported to the hospital
00:49and as of i
00:51think it was about noon yesterday donnie check me here it was a little bit before noon so she
00:58only really was in the hospital for like a little over 24 hours now she's back at home recovering and
01:04from all we're hearing i'm not sure how the first night at home went no can't imagine it was terribly
01:10comfortable but nonetheless she's at home home which is so important to recovery she's with her kids and
01:17her husband and so we're just so glad to report that she is high spirits she sent us a really
01:23sweet
01:23text message on her way back some photos it's been really really cool to see um you know how she's
01:30continued to remain so positive and just an inspiration yeah and in typical andy summers fashion
01:36because she always likes to try to find humor in low moments she's like i really don't have an appetite
01:42but i have these and then pointed to a uh picture of oreos yeah she's been snacking on that jeff
