00:00Peppa Pig has been on our screens for over 20 years, and in that time, the show has left behind
00:05a trail of mysteries that have never been solved.
00:07Today, we are going through all of them.
00:10Let's start with the question that has been bothering a lot of fans recently.
00:14The narrator's voice has changed in this new season.
00:16Today is a special day.
00:18And at first, that might not seem like a big deal.
00:21But think about it. In Peppa Pig, the only voices that ever changed were the child characters.
00:26Because child voice actors grow up, and you can't have a teenager voicing a four-year-old forever.
00:31That makes complete sense.
00:32But the narrator? The narrator is an adult.
00:35There is absolutely no reason to change an adult voice actor.
00:39So why did they?
00:39Some fans think the timing is very suspicious.
00:42Because right around the time the narrator's voice changed, fans had started coming up with some very interesting theories about
00:48who the narrator actually is.
00:50One of the most popular theories is that the narrator is Susie Sheep's missing dad.
00:54The all-knowing invisible figure who watches over everyone but can never be seen.
00:58Others believe the narrator is the actual mastermind behind Peppa's entire world, controlling everything that happens.
01:05And maybe the show's creators changed the narrator's voice specifically to throw fans off the trail.
01:10To make people stop asking questions.
01:12Because if they kept the same voice, someone might have eventually figured it out.
01:16So who is the narrator really?
01:17We still don't know.
01:19But the fact that they changed the voice without any explanation is really suspicious.
01:23What is going on with Mrs. Cow?
01:25Let's break this down.
01:27At some point in the show, Mrs. Cow gets married to Mr. Bull.
01:30And that seems straightforward enough.
01:32But here is where it gets strange.
01:33In an earlier episode, Mrs. Cow is seen on a Ferris wheel with Mr. Bear.
01:38Just the two of them.
01:39Which raises an obvious question.
01:41What exactly was going on there?
01:43Was she dating Mr. Bear before Mr. Bull?
01:46Then there is Carol Cow.
01:47The mysterious background character who almost every fan believes is Mrs. Cow's daughter.
01:51Carol used to appear alongside Mrs. Cow regularly.
01:54But lately, Carol has completely vanished.
01:57No explanation.
01:58No mention.
01:58Just gone.
01:59So here is the full picture.
02:01Mrs. Cow has a mysterious history with Mr. Bear.
02:04Gets married to Mr. Bull.
02:05And her supposed daughter has disappeared without a trace.
02:09For a background character, Mrs. Cow has an awful lot of unanswered questions surrounding her.
02:14Now this one might drive you crazy once you notice it.
02:17The inside of the pig family's house keeps changing.
02:20And we are not talking about the big renovation the house went through between seasons.
02:24We are talking about one specific door.
02:27The door by the staircase.
02:28In some episodes, that door leads to a basement.
02:31In other episodes, it opens up into a storage room.
02:34And in some episodes, the door isn't even there at all.
02:37It just disappears completely.
02:38Like it never existed.
02:39So, what is behind that door?
02:41Is it a basement?
02:42A storage room?
02:43Nothing?
02:44The show has never given us a consistent answer.
02:46For a family we have been watching for over 20 years, you would think we would at least
02:50know the basic layout of their house.
02:52But apparently not.
02:53And the more you pay attention to it, the more confusing it gets.
02:57Here's something you probably never thought about.
02:59Why don't we know the names of almost any adult character in Peppa Pig?
03:03Think about it.
03:04Almost every grown-up in the show is just called Mummy, Daddy, Grandpa, and Grandma.
03:10But so far, we've managed to find out a few names.
03:13Madame Gazelle's real name is Gigi.
03:15Hello, Gigi.
03:17Grampy Rabbit is Reggie.
03:18But there is a big Reggie Rabbit.
03:21That's me.
03:22Daddy Pig is apparently Snufflekins.
03:24Hugs and kisses, Snufflekins.
03:27And of course, Aunt Dottie.
03:29But why are the rest hidden?
03:30Is it a creative choice?
03:32Or is the show deliberately keeping something from us?
03:35Here is a question that sounds simple, but gets more confusing the more you think about
03:39it.
03:39Why does Peppa never age?
03:41The show has had at least six Christmas episodes and multiple birthday celebrations.
03:46Based on everything the series has shown us, at least six years should have passed since
03:50season one.
03:51But Peppa is still four years old.
03:53She has always been four years old.
03:55But here is where it gets interesting.
03:56After Baby Evie was born, the show covered Mummy Pig's entire pregnancy across multiple
04:01episodes, meaning nine actual months passed on screen.
04:04And on top of that, we are starting to see small hints that time might finally be moving
04:09forward.
04:09George is speaking in full sentences now.
04:12Ice cream!
04:14Peppa is noticeably more mature than she was in the earlier seasons.
04:17These are signs of real growth.
04:19But then, something completely contradicts all of that.
04:22Baby Alexander, who was born way before Evie, somehow looks exactly the same age as her.
04:28If time was genuinely moving forward, Alexander should be older.
04:31But he's not.
04:32So, is time actually moving in Peppa's world, or not?
04:35The show is sending two completely opposite signals at the same time.
04:38And honestly, we have no idea which one to believe.
04:41Everyone knows Mr. Fox is a thief.
04:43He tried to steal Grandpa Pig's chickens, taken items from a children's fundraiser, and
04:48sold broken toys with dead batteries.
04:50The evidence is overwhelming.
04:52And yet, nobody has done anything about it.
04:55The police haven't arrested him.
04:56The other characters haven't confronted him.
04:59He just keeps walking around Peppa Town with a big smile.
05:02Stealing from everyone, and getting away with it every single time.
05:06So, the question is, why?
05:08Does he somehow avoid leaving evidence?
05:10Do people forget what he's done?
05:12Or is everyone in Peppa Town just too polite to say anything?
05:16We genuinely don't know.
05:18Here's a mystery surrounding Aunt Dottie that most people haven't thought about.
05:22We know she's Mummy Pig's sister.
05:24But before Season 8, nobody had ever mentioned her.
05:27Not once.
05:28There are no photos of her in the house where Mummy Pig grew up.
05:31Peppa's grandparents never once mentioned having two daughters.
05:34And here's the strangest part.
05:36The Pig family has already visited the United States, which is where Aunt Dottie lives.
05:40And they didn't visit her.
05:42Not even once.
05:43Then Aunt Dottie shows up at Thanksgiving, completely unannounced, without telling her sister or her own parents she was coming.
05:50So, what exactly is going on?
05:52Why has this side of the family been hiding Aunt Dottie for so long?
05:56And why does it feel like nobody is actually that close to her?
05:59Now, here's one that will completely change the way you see Peppa's world.
06:03Have you ever noticed that Peppa has traveled to New York, Texas, Italy, France, and Australia?
06:09And in every single one of those places, there was not one pig character beside her family.
06:14Think about that.
06:15Every other species in the show has unrelated characters everywhere.
06:18But pigs?
06:19The only pigs that exist seem to be Peppa's direct family.
06:23And this has led to a theory that is genuinely unsettling.
06:26Some fans believe pigs might be endangered in Peppa's world,
06:29which would also explain why there always seems to be someone keeping an eye on Peppa.
06:34Maybe the pigs are being protected from disappearing completely.
06:37It sounds extreme, but when you think about it, it kind of makes sense.
06:40Now, let's talk about the Statue of Liberty.
06:43In our world, the Statue of Liberty is a human figure.
06:47But in Peppa's world, where animals are the dominant species, why does a human statue exist?
06:52The most popular theory is that humans once ruled this world.
06:55But at some point, they went extinct.
06:57The animals then evolved and took over.
06:59And the Statue of Liberty was left standing as a reminder of the world that used to exist.
07:04If that theory is correct, Peppa Pig isn't just a show about a funny little pig family.
07:08It's a show set in a post-human future.
07:11And that is genuinely one of the most unsettling ideas this show has ever accidentally suggested.
07:16And for this final one, let's go back inside the pig family's home.
07:20We all know the main entrance of the pig family's house.
07:22It is on the left side, and we have seen it hundreds of times across every season.
07:27But in the episode Babysitting, something very strange happens.
07:30Mummy and Daddy Pig return home from their date, and they walk in through a door behind the television.
07:35A door that has never existed before.
07:37In hundreds of episodes set inside that exact living room, there has never been anything behind that TV.
07:43No door, no wall opening, nothing.
07:46Just a wall.
07:47And then suddenly, out of nowhere, a fully functioning door appears.
07:50And two adult pigs casually walk through it like it is completely normal.
07:55The show never explains it, no character reacts to it, and the door never appears again after that episode.
08:00So where did it come from?
08:01And more importantly, where did it go?
08:03So those were some of the biggest unanswered questions in Peppa Pig.
08:07And honestly, the show has been running for over 20 years and still hasn't given us answers.
08:12Maybe it never will.
08:13Let us know in the comments which question bothers you the most.
