01:28these guys make i was curious what guidelines and practices were in place for you guys to make sure
01:33there was a level of trust on set that was needed especially when it came to filming like the orgasm
01:38deal part of the show yeah i mean we had such amazing conversations with everybody involved we're so
01:44close and our show run is so incredible and we had amazing intimacy coordinators that you know
01:49there's nothing inherently sexy at all about filming a sex scene so everything's very choreographed and
01:53it couldn't have been a more comfortable environment for us to and also it's so character
01:58driven all of these are very emotional scenes for the characters in many ways so it just felt very
02:03important to the story that we were telling yeah it's a it's a team effort nobody's thrilled to be
02:08there you know it's like yeah everybody's on the same team um and yeah i mean they ended up you
02:15know
02:16like those days were treated with just as much care as everything else um and even more so so yeah
02:21and belmont this is a kind of a random tangentially related question but with hockey romance really
02:25blowing up between this and heated rivalry in the last year i was curious what are some rules you think
02:32fans should follow and be mindful of when they're visiting the boy aquarium as it's called on the
02:37internet oh um uh geez i mean hockey is one of the best spectator sports there is like going to
02:44hockey games is so much fun because the game is alive at all times like the pocket the puck is
02:49always alive um i i can't think of any rules you should follow like drink beer eat hot dogs like

04:09white knuckling life and like trying to maintain control over everything and to uh bleed that control
04:15over to hannah's um life as an individual after the breakup felt wrong um so i i really liked that
04:21change too and i'm happy to hear that you did as well you know i was a really big fan

04:26one quick last question the bitches back moment was just amazing i was curious what song you guys

05:35it's been dubbed on social media oh man rules and guidelines what would you say see what would you
05:41say because he's he's an actual hockey player he knows he's telling us the rules and guidelines
05:45usually yeah well look out for a specific stretching form uh it's very popular where you get those hips
05:52nice and loose it's been being on the internet to be yeah uh very popular the butterfly yeah i'd say
05:59so it's the butterfly always looking out for that also when you're when you're doing that stretch
06:04it feels spectacular dude it's a release it is a release
06:12last week you didn't even know her name sometimes people sneak up on it
06:16and um antonia when hannah kisses garrett she kisses dean after that in the book but she kisses
06:21logan in the show i was curious how you reacted to that and why logan instead of dean well i

06:27you know obviously i loved the scene in the book i was like oh that's genius that's hilarious um but

06:33think it it is kind of a brilliant move to make it logan's like to have her fake kiss logan
06:42and for
06:42that to be like oh shit i'm in like i that i felt sparks i know she didn't but i
06:48felt it right and
06:49that it's just the fuel sad to see the moment go from the book but
06:54yeah contextually i think it helps it really raises the stakes a lot more
06:58yeah your character too yeah you know yeah it makes kind of it makes sense that moment afterwards
07:04where you're like what was the reactions and when you walk into you're like uh what's going on
07:11this is tutoring you look like a little like you're just so confusing steven dean and ali's book is my
07:17favorite book of the series so i was excited to see a lot of it in this season i was
07:20curious how
07:21you reacted when that happened and how you kind of reacted to season one to use a heated rivalry
07:26term scott and kippifying dean and ali's story a little bit um yeah no i i also love the score

07:35well um i read it before the we started shooting so that was great to to know and kind of
07:41have that
07:41in my mind quite a bit but yeah like there's there's so much more too that we're and we're
07:47working on right now and and there's so much more that we're going to explore so just doing like
07:51episode six was great because you know we really got to see what is in store so

09:08there's quite a few of them in the show yeah i think every well every single scene we had a
09:13intimacy coordinator and um for a lot of mine we we had rehearsals for it and blocking and so by
09:19the end
09:19of it it's just like a dance essentially but everyone i like the my main thing is like everyone just
09:24needs
09:24to feel safe in those sort of scenes and i think everyone felt pretty good in all of them and
09:29yeah i think
09:30you can see that in the final product as well yeah and we're also we were so close uh you
09:35know
09:35we became really good friends and so i think we all trust each other and we're super comfortable
09:39with each other like as friends and so that i think that makes stuff like that a lot easier
09:43yeah watch the player on the pod quality what the hell does that mean it means trust me and josh

09:50curious how justin like really feels about garrett and hannah's relationship especially since we're in
09:55their heads all the time but not really his yeah i think i don't know i feel like if the

10:01it would be natural to feel if you start to fall for someone and then you feel like they're falling
10:05for you and then they go start going a different path he's like obviously quite heartbroken in that
10:09but i think he um tries to psych himself up in a way being like oh we can just be
10:14friends and
10:14can watch on the sideline but i guess um he couldn't do that and i guess there the yearning kicks

10:22well and true as if it wasn't there before just bring back yearning yes exactly and mika a major
10:29major major spoiler for ali and ali and dean's relationship because so much of their book is
10:35actually covered in this season i was curious how you reacted when you learned that news and like
10:40what long term is the plan for for them as we go forward into season two yeah so i knew
10:45that uh they
10:47were kind of pulling ali and dean's storyline ahead a little bit uh before the original audition uh so
10:54that i knew it going in but getting to read the scripts and seeing how they were kind of going
10:57to
10:58integrate that it made a lot of sense to me because you know ali and hannah are besties and
11:02their stories are really interconnected and so um i think kind of doing things that way gave us a lot
11:09of ability to like explore more so what's going through ali's head you know during this whole secret
11:15romance that they're having uh yeah and josh this is a very random question but we are big book talk
11:22girls as i said we love romant to see now that you've done a book talk thing are you interested
11:27in
11:27diving into romanticity maybe i don't know fourth wing look i think um yeah book talk's a fun place
11:33to be and i'm on social media so i've seen some stuff yeah i think if the story's there and
