Australia’s biggest supermarket Woolworths is warning prices are heading higher on everyday items, from fruit and veg to milk and bread. The inflation shock triggered by the Middle East War is pushing up costs for suppliers that could last for the next 12 months.

00:47both of the major supermarkets are going to have a hard time convincing shoppers that they're not profiteering.
