00:00In the morning of this Saturday 27th of September, the President Gustavo Petro responded to the
00:04government of Donald Trump, after that the Secretary of State of that country announced
00:08that he would revoke the visa. The decision was announced by the office of Marco Rubio,

00:32The President has made several publications in his account in X respondiendo
00:36to the US decision, especially focused on reiterating his posture, defending Palestine and insisting
00:42in that its priority is not to have a visa. The announcement of the Secretary of State of

00:50during the last year has consolidated a distanciation of Colombia with the United States.
00:55The President Petro dedicates the breadth of the agenda of his visit to the United States
00:58to the activism pro-Palestina. No solo dedicates several of his discourses
01:02in favor of the Palestinian state, but even this Wednesday 26th of September,

01:13From the most close to Petro, no solo se solidarized with him, but even there were those who saw
01:19as a result of the state of New York's actions in New York. But in the opposition, the revocatory
01:25announced by the Department of State, he gave gasolina in the middle of a confrontational
01:30that, again more, has tintes electorales.
01:32No es un hecho menor que la decisión llegara cuando en Colombia ya calientan motores las
01:37distintas campañas de cara a las elecciones de 2026.
