00:01An 18-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision in Leeds earlier this month.
00:06West Yorkshire police say Owen Ford was struck by a silver Toyota Prius private hire vehicle
00:12on Woodhouse Lane on 5th March at around 12.15 in the early hours of the morning.
00:18He was taken to hospital after the collision and later died from his injuries. The driver,
00:23a 55-year-old man from Leeds, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless
00:29driving. He has since been released on bail while inquiries continue. Officers from the major
00:35collision inquiry team are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cams, CCTV or mobile phone
00:41footage to come forward.
