00:00¡Ah! ¡I saw that! ¡It made me so happy!
00:02¡It really did! ¡Especialmente porque I love Gaia! ¡Me too! ¡I'm a huge fan!
00:08¡I know! ¡I'm so excited! ¡Who isn't, right? ¡Yeah! ¡Who isn't!
00:14¡Hey, girls! ¡It is a pleasure to be here talking to you!
00:17¡I gotta say that I'm a huge fan, even though I was born when the first movie premiered!
00:25¡And I gotta say that in the past 30 years, many things has happened, you know?
00:29In Mexico, there's a thing with Ghostface, and I don't know, I don't know if you are aware of it,
00:35but we like to Mexicanize, let's say, Ghostface.
00:40So people, I'm gonna show you, people create like a version of Ghostface.
00:45¡Oh, I love that!
00:46¡Oh, that's fantastic!
00:47¡Oh, that's fantastic!
00:50¡I've seen that! ¡I've actually seen that! ¡That's so cool!
00:53¡Yeah! And also they do like cumbia videos, you know?
00:56¡No way!
00:57¡Yeah! This is Cumbia Son Hidera with Ghostface.
01:01¡That's fantastic!
01:02So, how aware are you at this point of this franchise of the cultural impact that this story has?
01:10It's hard to be aware, because you can't be all over the world, but I did have someone tell me,
01:15a friend of ours is shooting in South Africa right now, and they went to the movies last week, and
01:20the, you know, the commercial for the film came out, and literally the audience stood up and were cheering in
01:27South Africa.
01:28And like, you know, and that, and that's in many, many places. It's crazy to me.
01:32It's lovely. It's lovely. It's great. It's exciting.
01:34I think, if anything, I would be more aware of the cultural impact, because I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I was
01:39in, I've been, I've been in the cultural impact my entire life, I've been watching it, you know, and a
01:45part of it, in many ways.
01:46So, that is really cool.
01:48Yeah, it's cool, right?
01:49That's, yeah.
01:50That's really cool, yeah.
01:51Oscar-nominated Mexican movie, Amores Perros.
01:54Yes.
01:54Gael, yes.
01:55He's wearing a t-shirt.
01:57Oh, he is, that's right, I saw that.
01:59Yeah.
01:59I saw that.
02:00That made me so happy.
02:01Yeah.
02:02It really did.
02:03That's really cool.
02:03Especially because I love Gael.
02:04Me too.
02:05I'm a huge fan.
02:07Yeah, I know.
02:08I got so excited.
02:09Who isn't, right?
02:10Yeah, who isn't?
02:15So, I wanted to ask you, what would you say to Gael about this fun little detail?
02:21I don't know if he's aware, you know?
02:23Well, I'm a huge fan of his, so it was really, it was an honor to see that.
02:27Wow.
02:27Yeah.
02:27Like a little fangirl moment.
02:28Yeah, I know.
02:30And well, I gotta say, Nev, that I find really interesting when a character grows and evolves in the screen
02:38throughout the years, you know?
02:40We've seen Sydney growing and evolving.
02:43So, I want to ask you, which has been the funniest part of playing her?
02:49Because it is, again, a huge thing, you know?
02:53Yeah.
02:53In movies and in horror genre.
02:55Yeah.
02:56It's incredible.
02:57I don't know that I can say there's one thing that's the most amazing.
03:00I mean, just to be a part of a franchise, you know, just to do a film and get to
03:04do it again and again and again is such a rarity.
03:06To be able to have a character grow, to be given that opportunity.
03:10I'm sure there's plenty of actors out there who could do it, but they're not given the opportunity.
03:14You know?
03:14So, for me, it's such an honor to have that chance and to be a part of a character that
03:19people love and want to follow and revisit.
03:22Yeah, it's a blast.
03:23We love you so much.
03:24Thank you.
03:24You know?
03:25And my last question, we've seen many ghosts face throughout these 30 years, but if you can rank your favorite,
03:35the people behind the mask, which would your top three be?
03:42Oh, the top three.
03:43Well, I would say that Stu and Billy, they have to be number one.
03:48And then...
03:49Oh, God, it's hard, isn't it?
03:51Mrs. Loomis is third.
03:52Mrs. Loomis.
03:53That's pretty great.
03:54Third?
03:56No.
03:57No, you said third?
03:57Well, who's second?
03:58Yeah, third in line.
03:58I think it's Stu and Billy, or Billy and Stu.
04:02I think it kind of ties.
04:03And then I would say Mrs. Loomis.
04:05Mrs. Loomis.
04:06And then, yeah, I thought you were saying third.
04:07You were, like, skipping, too.
04:08No.
04:08Mrs. Loomis.
04:08So who is...
04:09Mrs. Loomis.
04:10And then, um...
04:12Oh, gosh.
04:14Roman, maybe?
04:15I mean, everybody's really good.
04:16And, like...
04:16Jill.
04:17Jill.
04:17Oh, that's a good one, too.
04:18Jill was great, too.
04:20Mickey, Madsen, though.
04:21I was gonna say Amber.
04:22I was gonna say Amber.
04:23She was really good.
04:24I mean, she was really good.
04:25Phenomenal.
04:26Yes.
04:26Yes.
04:27She went for it.
04:28She was like, help me, help me.
04:30Oh, fuck.
04:31Oh, sorry.
04:32Yeah, maybe.
04:33Help me, help me!
04:37Stop me!
04:39What do you think?
04:40Trap.
04:41Fuck it.
04:42Well, guys, last question.
04:44What does it come to your mind when you hear, hello, Sidney?
04:49Hello, Sidney.
04:51Hello, Sidney.
04:52Hello, Sidney.
04:54Hello, Sidney.
04:55Hello, Sidney.
04:57Hello, Sidney.
04:57What's the first thing?
04:59I'm like, Roger.
05:01Hey, how you doing?
05:03You do?
05:03I have a huge house on me.
