A beach accessibility project, "Praia Para Todos" (Beach For All), in Rio de Janeiro brought people with disabilities and reduced mobility into the waters of Copacabana on Saturday (March 7), using specialized amphibious wheelchairs and volunteer support to provide inclusive ocean access.

00:12The Praia Para Todos, Beach For All initiative, launched by Instituto Novoser in 2008, provides
00:20adapted equipment, accessible pathways, and trained volunteers to help participants enter
00:25and swim in the sea.
00:27It is a free project, we are here to offer the support, the receptivity that a person with
00:35deficiencies deserve to have a plethora of water, of quality of life in the praia.
00:41It is of empowerment, it is to know that all people with disabilities have a right to
00:47a water water inclusivity, with dignity and with accessible instruments.
00:53Before the accident, I lived on the beach, so after the accident, I stayed a year without
00:59the beach.

01:07According to the project's website, it operates at five rio beaches, including Copacabana,
01:13Baradatijuca, and Ipanema, serving about 50 people with disabilities daily at each location.
