00:00A powerful tornado struck southern Michigan on March 6th, leaving a trail of devastation in its
00:04wake. At approximately 4.48 in the afternoon, an EF2 tornado tore through Branch County. Homes were
00:10leveled, the roof of a major home improvement store was ripped away, and debris was scattered
00:16for miles. Residents described the destruction as complete, with one eyewitness exclaiming,
00:21It's lifting houses! Tragically, at least four people lost their lives, and 12 others were
00:27injured, including three, in critical condition. Hundreds of residents are without power, and roads
00:33remain closed or restricted in the affected areas. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has activated the
00:38State Emergency Operations Center, as emergency responders continue recovery efforts. Looking
00:43ahead, more severe storms are forecast for Saturday, putting over 7 million people at risk from Kansas
