Attorney General Larry Devoe and Ombudsman Tarek William Saab were sworn in by the National Assembly as the heads of their respective institutions in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Devoe pledged to uphold the Constitution and laws of the Republic, committing to carry out his duties honestly and thoroughly in accordance with the Bolivarian Constitution and statutes of the Public Ministry. Saab, for his part, recalled his work in the Constituent Assembly and with popular and human rights movements, reaffirming his commitment to constitutional guarantees and his role as Attorney General since 2016.
