00:00So clearly, President Trump is irritated, to say the least, by this decision. He called this ruling
00:05by the Supreme Court ridiculous and anti-American. Would you agree with that?
00:10You know, I understand the president's frustration, but really that the president
00:14also underscored an important point. Secretary Besant, the secretary of treasury,
00:18underscored an important point. This ruling does not take away the tariff authority that the
00:23president, all of the other tariff authorities that the president has. So sure, is he slightly
00:28irritated because his one preferred path, the Supreme Court struck down, sure. But does that
00:35mean that he can't proceed with a lot of other tariff authorities, whether they're for national
00:41security, whether they're for retaliation against foreign countries, further unfair trade practices,
00:47whether they're for a balance of payments issue? He has those authorities. He'll proceed with those.
00:53Ultimately, I don't think this is going to be a step back for him. I think he just has to,
00:57his team is scrambling to find new authorities to leverage.
