00:04Space suddenly, or I would say more recently, has become a topic of politicians at top level
00:12because it is recognized that space is strategic, is for security and defense, but it's also
00:19an economic stimulant. It's a factor, it's a domain which grows extremely fast, about
00:2410% per year, and there are not so many economic domains that have this growth at that level.
00:31You asked about human spaceflight, and of course this is the challenge we face in Europe.
00:37We have today, or let's say today, there are three nations who can bring astronauts into
00:44space. The United States through a commercial company called SpaceX, the Russians through
00:51their program with Soyuz capsule and Soyuz rocket, and China, who is another country who is capable
01:00of flying taikonauts into space. Soon, India, but Europe, not yet. And I think this is something
01:06that is a political decision that is required. President Macron actually is planning to launch
01:14space summit this year here in Paris, inviting heads of state from different countries, and
01:21one of the discussions may be how human spaceflight also for Europe is possible or is not made possible.
