00:00Bersatu Deputy President Hamzah Zainuddin has been sacked from the party, according to a letter issued by the Disciplinary Board.

00:08The opposition leader sacking from Bersatu comes amid a leadership tussle between him and Party President Muhyiddin Yassin.

00:16According to the letter cited by FMT, the Bersatu Disciplinary Board found that Hamzah had breached Clause 9.1.4

00:24of the party's constitution.

00:28Bersatu Disciplinary Board Chairman Radzi Manan said his notice is effective immediately.

00:33However, he said he may submit an appeal to the appeals board within 14 days of this notice.
