00:00I must say, yes, I visited five warehouses yesterday in my normal routine.
00:08And as I see in front of me in those warehouses, they were literally empty.
00:14Mr. Williams said some supermarkets lack basic supplies.
00:19From our brand and event manager, our management committee member,
00:23he was stating to us that there's a lot of activities happening on the island
00:26and there's a desire, there's a need for basic stuff that we don't have presently.
00:31And he indicated to me that one of his supermarkets don't have any things like basic water.
00:37From reports reaching his office, Mr. Williams said adverse weather conditions in Tobago on Wednesday night
00:43were responsible for the birthing delays involving the MV Blue Wave Harmony.
00:49The sea condition was not favorable for the captain.
00:54So the captain and the pilot decided to wait it out until the sea condition was favorable
01:01because of what happened on the last occasion.
01:06They did wait it out and the vessel did boat it at 536 and safely offload the cargo or the
01:17trucks.
01:17Some losses are already estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
01:22But Mr. Williams said he remains hopeful that these current shortfalls will not extend into the Easter period.
01:31Carnival is upon us next week and after Carnival we're going straight into Easter.
01:35And we want to ensure that we do have these issues going forward.
