00:00Well the economy was the fastest of the European G7 economies this year and growth of course was
00:07stronger than it was the year before and crucially GDP per head of the population
00:12has increased over the last year after falling in the previous parliament. The six cuts in interest
00:19rates means that people with a mortgage are going to be paying a bit less than they were before,
00:24around £1,400 or less for somebody getting a new mortgage or renewing a mortgage. We're creating
00:31the conditions for growth by returning stability to the economy and bringing in investment. Is there
00:37more to do? Absolutely but we've created the conditions of growth and I'm confident that
00:43this will be the year that we see the results of that.
