00:00And let's lead off with another trade that took place, this time between the Pacers and the Clippers.
00:06And that sent Benedict Matherin, Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks and one second-round pick to the Clippers for Ivanka Zubak and Kobe Brown.
00:16When you think about this trade and you think about the Pacers losing Miles Turner in the offseason,
00:24it made sense to go get Ivanka Zubak, a rugged rebounder, but I want people to understand, this is a different player than Miles Turner.
00:34Miles Turner, stretch five, decent post-up game versus a more rugged player and Ivanka Zubak.
00:45So it'll be interesting to see how Rick Carlell uses Zubak.
00:49And if you look at the Clippers, getting someone like Benedict Matherin and Isaiah Jackson allows them with Darius Garland to get some younger pieces to try and build it up.
01:00It'll be interesting to watch what takes place next year with Indiana and how they use Zubak because I don't look at him as a pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop guy.
01:10I look at him more as a dunk spot guy and a post-up guy and try and get him a couple of buckets.
01:17Let's move on to another trade that took place, and that's Jared McCain.
01:22Jared McCain, folks, is someone that we thought was going to win rookie of the year for the 24-25 season before he got hurt,
01:28was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
01:34And when you really look at the trade for Jared McCain, you have to think about it as this.
01:42How many assets is this team going to get that's young?
01:47Like, you just look at OKC, right?
01:50Caruso, SGA, Dort, Wiggins, Joe, and now McCain.
01:57They just develop assets and young players that anytime Sam Presti makes a trade, you're like, OK, that's going to work.
02:10Like, it's kind of like when people used to go to the Heat and you're like, perhaps I just did it again.
02:16So, that's what's happening now.
02:18And it's also another player that when Sam Presti wants to move some players to go get another star with his draft picks,
02:29it puts him at his disposal.
02:31Really, really, really good trade for them.
02:35So, that's what we're going to do.
