00:00All of what we do is about the future and if you think about a car which is
00:11completely different in every possible way to what we ever made then you need
00:18a name about all of this.
00:30Ferrari is a dream.
00:36Ferrari is a human expression of women and men that come together and really are eager
00:44of creating what has never been created and that comes to the very root of how our founder
00:52Inso Ferrari imagined what he wanted to achieve with the incredible people that work in Ferrari.
01:00A company like Ferrari which is profoundly rooted into the power of combustion engines,
01:07that strength, that wonder but equally always ready to challenge, to look as Inso Ferrari
01:16would say that the best car is the one that is going to come.
01:21If you want to be a leader you have to be bold, you don't have to be afraid to explore
01:27new paths.
01:28I spent more than 30 years in technology and I can tell you the best way to use the technology
01:33is to start from the emotion, the feeling of the human beings.
01:37Today there is a technology that is called electric.
01:40We can harness this technology if we want to redefine limit of possible audaciously.
01:46My father liked the innovation.
01:52I can tell you when the era of turbo arrived.
01:56We were at the end of the 70's, the first 80's, and he followed the turbo technology to
02:02be able to apply it on the road.
02:04And then the turbo era started from there.
02:06We thought that every product could have its own power train.
02:15We started to think about how could it be a Ferrari electric car and what type of car
02:21could it be done with this power train.
02:25We have opened a new world of dynamical experiment, which clearly has given joy to all of our
02:32engineers and vehicles that have wanted to do things much closer to an aircraft than an aircraft.
02:38We have invested a lot of time in trying to create something new and never seen before.
02:45Many engineers have worked.
02:47What we call the core team is about 100-120 engineers.
02:52We have done so many innovations, clearly because it was the first time that we did an electric car.
02:58We have brevetted more than 60 ideas.
03:01We have worked for the brevetted in all areas, from the electric motor to the inverter to the dynamics,
03:07to the integration of the battery with the battery.
03:10In this moment, we are putting in our productive line what will deliver the work of many children,
03:17which, with their daily work, will give us even more value and heart to our cars.
03:23Building a car is an incredibly difficult endeavor.
03:30And it really takes the passion of so many people.
03:35And what happened is that we really wanted to give ourselves the time.
03:41The time to make sure that every single detail were at the best possible of what we could collectively do.
03:51All of what we do is about the future and if you think about a car which is completely different in every possible way to what we ever made,
04:08and if you think about a car which is completely different in every possible way to what we ever made,
04:24then you need a name about all of this.
04:29And that's really, really hard.
04:32Then it all seems so clear, so simple.
04:36Luce, light.
04:39You see the light in many equations, especially when it comes to the electromagnetic space.
04:44It's something that is showing you the way forward.
04:47It's not only about the electric.
04:49Electric is one part of the Ferrari Luce.
04:53As we were thinking about this incredible convergence of so many different technologies,
05:01which is really when also Johnny Ive with Mark Newson was thinking about what they wanted to do next.
05:10And those conversations led us to understand how important it was to be aware of the history,
05:18but equally excited, not frightened, but encouraged about what is to come.
05:25Our car is not electric.
05:29Our car is electric.
05:30Our car is electric.
05:31Our car is electric.
05:32It's two different things.
05:34Our car is electric.
05:35Our car is electric.
05:36It's one experience this joy.
05:37It has electric.
05:38We doing a little dance that찍 can Seitacouit into Normand.
05:39This one sees spirit and a man playing a song from November 19th,
05:42and there's two different things.
05:43We're not electric.
05:44The polen happened to the кровatice.
05:45Time was electric.
05:46It was electric.
05:47It's two different things.
05:48We can do it.
