00:00The Prime Minister is the architect of his own misfortunes, and all of the chaos and instability we're seeing is completely self-inflicted.
00:09This is a Labour psychodrama right now. We're all living in Labour psychodrama.
00:14I'm standing here in a pub that has been struggling with many of the terrible decisions that Labour has made,
00:19and they want to talk about their issues. They want to see a government getting a grip.
00:23Right now we have a government that's focusing purely on its own internal psychodrama.
00:28Enough of that. It is time for them to get a grip and start governing the country.
00:33Now investors are rattled this morning. The pound is falling and bond yields are rising.
00:38Is this a sign that we should be staying with the PM and not getting rid of them?
00:43What the markets are showing right now is a sign that they are worried about the chaos of this government.
00:49It is purely self-inflicted. We have seen U-turn after U-turn lots of bad decisions being made.
00:55The jobs tax, for example, you know, them taking away or giving back winter fuel allowance to child benefit cap.
01:02They don't know whether they're coming or going. The prime minister is like a plastic bag blowing in the wind.
01:06And that is what the markets are basically saying. What I want to see right now is a government that is getting a grip.
01:13We know there's not going to be an election till 2029. So what are they going to do in the meantime?
01:17Are they going to be arguing for the for the entire period? They need to get back to work.
01:21I'm doing my job holding them to account. They need to start doing their job.
