00:04Beyond the eastern edge of Israel
00:06is the Palestinian territory
00:08of the West Bank.
00:12It was occupied in war by Israel
00:14in 1967.
00:16Since then,
00:18hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers
00:20have moved here illegally
00:22under international law.
00:24Among them,
00:26a group of religious nationalists
00:28who see it as their divine right
00:30to build a greater Israel
00:32and drive out the Palestinians
00:34who've been here for generations.
00:40I made a film about them
00:42in 2011,
00:44but now since the attack of October 7th
00:46I'd heard that they were accelerating
00:48the settlement process
00:50.
00:52While being protected
00:54by the Israeli military.
00:56.
00:58I'd come to try to understand
01:00their mindset
01:02and to see the consequences
01:04of their ultra-nationalist vision
01:06up close.
01:08They don't see us
01:10as equal human being
01:12who deserve the same rights they do.
