00:00Despite Dennis playing both sides, Portia reveals she drops a bomb at the table essentially saying
00:06that Drew is dating some guy named Black and Drew immediately shuts down this rumor and says that
00:13they're just friends and this is also where Drew claps back at Portia and says that she's dating
00:21future. Yeah that future. I have to say I hate that Drew gets such a bad rap for
00:28maybe partially telling the truth or you know embellishing her stories but the reality is is
00:36that I don't think that we can say without a shadow of a doubt that any housewife is telling the truth
00:42100% of the time and Drew is the only person who truly gets called on it. Okay hold on because I'm
00:48not here to argue with you Drew. I'm really not arguing. We're having a grown woman. Do you want me
00:54to finish what I'm saying so you can understand. Well you were throwing out false things that I
00:58have to. I'm not throwing out false things. Your whole vibe, your whole energy is combative. Your
01:03vibe has been combative. Okay. You have literally treated me like I did something to you when I've
01:10done nothing to you. You got it. So you're gonna leave. Yeah because it's not protective. So you said you wanted to talk but you really don't want to talk. Thank you for the tea. Okay you can go ahead and walk away.
01:17Do what you do best. Not face the truth. Starting to understand why Simon is leaving you. Why Shamia
01:23wants to leave. Hey Essies. This week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta the ladies are headed to
01:28Grenada but not without some drama first so let's go ahead and get into it. Britt's event planner claps
01:33back and basically says that she was only brought on to decorate and the bill for the event allegedly still
01:39has not been paid. Elsewhere in this episode we finally get to see Drew and Portia have this sit down
01:46and I think it's the moment that we've all been waiting for. I think that both of them kind of have
01:51been evading accountability in a way so it's about time that the ladies have this conversation.
01:57I have to say though what frustrates me most about this is that what's really dragging this situation
02:04on for as long as we've seen it go on this entire season has been because of Dennis. I think that
02:12Dennis is telling Portia one thing to keep her happy telling Drew another thing to keep her happy
02:18and for some reason the ladies are not putting it together that the situation is the way that it is
02:24is because Dennis is telling them two different things. What I also notice here is that Drew is
02:30actually holding Portia's feet to the fire. I have to give Drew her 10s for this because she was
02:35really trying to put it on the floor like what really is the problem trying to clear the air
02:41and similar to her conversation with Shamia a few episodes ago Portia gets up and walks off
02:48and I think that when it gets too hot for Portia we're not gonna see her we didn't get to see her
02:55really have this conversation the way it needed to be had. Anyways the ladies are finally headed to
03:03Grenada and we get to see Phaedra on the cash trip and of course she is back and we're kind of
03:09getting some of that signature shade that we're familiar with seeing with her on past seasons.
03:15I was very concerned about her but I knew that Velvet was her friend. I mean that was probably
03:20you know one of her only good friends. And so she opens up by saying that Angela is the oldest looking
03:29young woman she's ever seen. I thought that was really crazy but here we are. Nonetheless we get
03:35lapdog gate back once again and so Shamia is just not having it. She's like if a woman is if she's
03:42gonna call me a dog we don't really have anything to talk about. She keeps calling me a lapdog blah blah
03:46blah blah blah. I hit dog on holler because woman you see what I'm saying that's why we can't blow more.
03:52My problem is is that I think that two things can be true. Does Shamia have maybe some lapdog tendencies?
04:01And I don't think lapdog is the best word but she's just a very loyal friend to Portia.
04:06Yes absolutely. Did Drew also say that the way these royalties work this will pay for Pilar's whole
04:13college? Yes. I don't think that Shamia brought anything back any other way than how it was initially
04:20said. I actually love that Phaedra is in this cast dynamic because similar to Cynthia I think
04:25because she's a little bit older she can kind of help mediate some of these situations. And so
04:30basically Phaedra is like well Drew did you really mean to call her a dog? This is where the dog comes
04:36back to bite because Drew says well she was at the table barking like one. She ate that little one
04:43because Shamia I still don't understand why you started barking. That was so childish. But anyway
04:50towards the end of the episode we get to see a little peek into next week and so I think this
04:56is where we're going to start to see Britt and Kelly's friendship begin to crumble a little bit.
