00:00The manager of the Brea Improv, he had said, I see the best of the best come through here.
00:06I see people who are actors or actresses trying to do comedy. He says, but I've never seen anybody
00:12like you have such command of the stage, are so relatable, and you're doing a great job. He was
00:18so encouraging. I didn't want the comedians that I've been working with all my entire career to
00:25think that I was just jumping in and doing something out of nowhere without, you know,
00:31integrity. And so the fact that people like Ms. Pat, Lunell, Kim Whitley, Dave Chappelle,
00:42Damon Wayans, they're all rooting me on and they're like, yeah, keep going to you. And they're
00:46giving me advice. I just want to take chances that I've never taken before. Even with my kids,
00:52they're older now. I didn't even take jobs that were outside of California because my kids are
00:58based here. Right. So for a long time, I didn't take jobs and it probably hurt my career a lot. Like
01:04I wouldn't go to another state. I wouldn't go to another country because
01:10raising them was more important than anything else.
