00:10today I really want to talk to you guys about self-care. My favorite self-care
00:14time is during wash day because I really get a couple of hours to really just
00:18focus on myself. It is so important to pay attention to your hair when you're
00:23shampooing and making sure your hair is completely rid of any build-ups that
00:27may have accumulated throughout the day. Getting that away, but making sure not
00:31to strip your hair of its natural oils. Something I really love about Palmers is
00:36that they use amazing ingredients. So no parabens, no sulfates, no mineral oils.
00:40They use natural coconut oil and they're sustainably sourced. I deep condition every
00:46single time I wash my hair. We always want to have super defined, moisturized,
00:51hydrated curls that look healthy. So whether you're sitting under a heat cap or an
00:55overhead dryer, just allowing all that natural nutrients just sink into your
01:01curls is very important. Some of my favorite things to do while I'm deep
01:06conditioning is either watch my favorite shows or read a book. So another thing I do is
01:12pull away from social medias and really just focus on curls & Couture. I'll answer
01:17emails, handle any contractual agreements that I need to take care of, really focusing on
01:22my website. So some of my favorite Palmers Washay products are the cleansing oil
01:26shampoo, the strengthening conditioner because I do have color treated curls, and
01:30the deep conditioning protein packs. So after the wash day process it's really
01:36important to prepare my hair for styling. So first I'll use the Palmers
01:39leave-in conditioner because that really helps detangle my hair. Then I'll start
01:44with the Curl Styler Cream Pudding to define my twist. And last but not least to lock in all the moisture and all the nutrients,
