00:00Ms. Patty, you were known for having a mean shoe game.
00:06When did you fall in love with shoes?
00:08Was that always been kind of your thing?
00:09I must have fallen in love with shoes when I fell in love with the hot sauce I was making
00:13in the garage.
00:14Girl, I am a shoe fanatic, and I buy shoes lately that don't fit.
00:20What?
00:21Honestly, something's wrong with me.
00:23I have them, and my friend Norma, my best friend that you met, said, Pat, when are you
00:28going to wear these?
00:29I said, honey, they hurt, but why did you buy them?
00:32Because they're beautiful.
00:33Beautiful.
00:34They're like hard work.
00:35I put them in beautiful places like on my fireplace when I'm in bed and look at the shoe.
00:42But I wear a lot of money.
00:43A lot of them can fit.
00:44I just love-
00:45Which ones do you have on?
00:46What do you have on today?
00:47You have a classic boot on today.
00:48A chew.
00:49Oh, yes, a chew.
00:50I think.
00:51It's beautiful.
00:52Yeah.
00:53Ooh.
00:54And I love that you still love a good heel, because I love me a heel.
00:56I see you do.
00:57I love the heel.
00:58You stand different in a heel.
01:00Yes.
01:01I have my flats in the back, but I come out pumping.
01:04Yes.
01:05You got to come out pumping.
01:06Yes, girl.
01:07And when did you first start kicking them off in the concerts?
01:09One night, my feet were hurting really badly, and I had on a shoe with no strap.
01:15So I said, oh, this effort can come off.
01:17So I started kicking the shoes from then, and I'm still kicking them.
01:20Now, I have to ask you a question because you love your shoes.
01:23Uh-huh.
01:24Now, what if it's like a pair of shoes you really love, and it goes flying in the audience?
01:26You don't get that back?
01:27Aren't you funny that you're saying this?
01:29Last week, I bought a pair of Manolas, and we had a performance.
01:33I don't know where we were working, but at one point in the show, I kicked my shoes off.
01:38And so Norma said, you're not kicking those shoes off because they have beautiful jewels on them and everything, girl.
01:45Something came over me, and I kicked that shoe.
01:48And after the show, I said, did it make it backstage?
01:52And they said, we got your red shoes.
01:53Oh, good.
01:54Yeah, but it's just a habit, and I'm not stopped.
01:59I love it.
02:00That's why, like I said, I won't wear a strap shoe on stage because, you know.
02:06But at least you know you can get your shoe back, though.
02:08I got them back.
02:09Now, would you get all of them back, or just those special ones?
02:11No, all of them.
02:13All of them, I love that.
