00:35i'm so happy that you're here oh my goodness so we've just been kind of vibing out and hanging it
00:40is so nice to have you ladies here absolutely a pleasure i want all of the scoop all of the scoop
00:45so are there any good anecdotes of what happened behind the scenes of that epic lemonade i'm going
00:50to call it a documentary that you could share with us oh my goodness well we filmed our segment
00:55in december in nola and it was so stunning and it was incredible being surrounded by all those
01:03phenomenal women you know especially the young ones like zendaya and amandla i know it was just so
01:10inspiring and we didn't know how it was going to be used but we just knew that it was going to be
01:14something really special so you had to keep a secret since december is that what you're trying to tell me
01:18yes we did it was actually quite easy because we both knew so we were discussing it amongst each
01:26other yeah we're so fun so it helps to have a sister you can share that with yes and there's
01:31of course a lot of talk about jay-z and beyonce and he was on set what was that energy like um were
01:36you kind of aware of what the entire body of work was going to be or just your oh just our parts
01:41they're such incredible beings with such so you weren't clued into everything if you will oh yeah
01:45just the parts about now yeah that's fair enough and you are also signed to beyonce's label
01:50okay what was that phone call like oh my goodness she said hey guys i know not only do i know who you
01:57are but i want you on the on the team talk to me about it very amazing so we started with our youtube
02:04covers really that was when we really started getting traction from people and people really
02:10started listening to our covers and this one cover we did in particular pretty hurts by her
02:15it went viral really we noticed that people really started to like this one more than all of the others
02:22and then one day we got an email from parkwood her team and they were like oh my gosh you guys are
02:28amazing can be post this video on all her socials and are you guys signed we were like freaking out
02:34we were we were jumping for joy why are they asking us if we're signed we were like trying
02:39to read into it like ooh and then and then two days later we got the call that b wanted to sign us
02:45so it was just so surreal just a whirlwind i know it's such a dream come true and it's crazy how the
02:51universe works because my sister and i our paths crossed with her when we were really young
02:56oh wow and i was three the fighting temptations the movie i played her and so my sister and i
03:03stop it the red carpets with her and crawling under people's feet and we still have pictures
03:07so did she remember you from no after we told her did you tell her that was your full circle moment
03:11and that it was meant to be and you claimed it yeah i am not to say all that but that's how i
03:15envision i know and like we're so into how everything just comes right back around so it was crazy
03:21that is awesome that's a great story thank you now how involved is she in your creative process
03:25as you guys develop your your new music right she is so very involved and what's so great about it
03:30is that she lets us lead the way with our music of course she gives her opinions and stuff but it's
03:36so great that we have our creative freedom that we do because in so many in this music industry so
03:42many artists aren't given that freedom right so we're so blessed and happy with that and can you
03:46tell me a little bit about your latest ep yes oh i'm so excited on on friday and it comes out and
03:54we've been working on it for so long what's this called it's called sugar symphony oh okay harmony
03:59and you know it's called sugar symphony because my sister and i we love the sweet harmonies and the
04:07melodies but then we also love the really hard beats and it comes together so perfectly like a
04:12symphony so sugar symphony and we're so happy for the world to hear it and we're happy to put art out
