03:00And I got this script, and I was like, what is this script for a movie?

03:07I loved reading it, and becoming a character for an extended period of time was always really fun for me.
03:13And I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of great experiences, so I just kind of continued.

07:11And it's some really great stuff on there.
07:12What is it like?
07:14What has it been like for you stepping behind the lens on this project?
07:17Well, it's doing both, honestly, because I'm in front and behind it.

07:20So either way, I enjoy both spots.
07:23You know, looking and directing, but also being a part of it is cool as well.
07:27And what else are you taking on?
07:28Because I know you probably have like 10,000 million things lined up.
07:30Well, you know what?
07:31In July, end of July, I do something called Girl Talk Takeover, which is something I do
07:35with the Boys and Girls Club for young females.
07:37Nice.
07:38And I'm actually in the middle of playing that because we're in July.
07:40Right.
07:41And the event's on July 29th.
07:42I'm doing it at the Harlem Boys and Girls Club.
07:45Okay.
07:45I've done it in Newark and Jersey City, and it's like my passion.
07:48And I absolutely love doing it for the girls.

07:51We do community exposure.
07:52We help the girls figure out the way to career-wise, self-esteem.
07:55I mean, the list goes on and on and on.
07:56And it's a beautiful thing.
07:58And it's like 250 of the girls.
07:59So I'm enjoying that.
