00:25So I just finished up a movie with Chris Rock. I'm working on a new book.
00:28I'm executive producing two shows, which I'm in contracts about right now.

00:49What is some of the things that you do, you have to do each time you come to the Essence Festival?
00:52You got to walk down that old nasty-smelling Bourbon Street.
00:55You know, that just smelled like ass for seven years. You can't say that on camera, can you?
01:00Oh my gosh, I ain't never seen the stankiest street in my life.
01:04But for some reason, you can't stay away from Bourbon Street.
01:06You go in there, and they got a country bar that smells like horse's feet.
01:11Then they got a karaoke bar where it's two white people karaoke-ing all of the rap songs.
01:16That is the best. The floors are so sticky.
01:19Then you go to do Monson to get the beignet.
01:21So this year, what's on your itinerary in terms of who you're here to really see this year?

01:31It was so amazing seeing Prince.
01:33He gets sexier every time I see him, every year.
01:37At 12 o'clock, though, I thought he was going to start singing Kingdom Hall songs, but he didn't.

01:41He just, you know, he said even on stage, you know how many hits I have?
01:47And I was like, we're going to be here all night because you got a lot of hits.
