00:00Speaking of Prince, you were saying on the Sherry Shepard show that he was the one to kind of like coach you through the experience of going independent.
00:06When you had that phone call with him, when it came to the pros of going independent, what did he tell you that kind of got you excited to go independent?
00:13Well, he did mention that there are new business models and he was actually testing them at the time.
00:18I opened for him at the O2 Arena twice in London during his O2 tour.
00:24Wow.
00:24And, you know, he was very adamant about having conversations of empowerment, ownership, of course, based on what he's been through.
00:32And if he, I believe, saw a bit of artistry and longevity within you, that he needed to pull you to the side so that you could maybe figure out another path.
00:45But he was also very spiritual, too, and talked about the importance of that and alignment.
00:50So all of the gems were constantly dropped in any interaction, whether it was in person or over the phone.
00:58And it was very impactful.

01:00You know, so he said there's a way.
01:03There's a different way to this.
01:04Don't be discouraged.
01:06Even pointers, you know, during the live show, like direct eye contact.

01:14I still take all of these little things that were magical with me.
01:19But the independent journey, when someone that has a career and experience and, of course, is a phenomenon, I listen and I don't take that for granted.
