00:03And ultimately, on January 27th, 2021, LeMayu signed with the Yankees.
00:11And by the way, I think the Yankees regret how they structured that contract, which was to try to skirt some salary cap stuff.
00:23So instead of, say, maybe giving him four for 80 or four for 90, they made it.
00:27They stretched it out to six at 90. And now 15 million is on the payroll for next year.
00:33So like maybe they're sitting and going, you know, we didn't follow our instinct on LeMayu.
00:38We learned something. We're going to hold tight on Bellinger.
00:40We think he's a five year offer and that's all it's going to be.
00:44And that has clearly left the door open for somebody to sneak in.
00:47I still think if you ask and I clearly every time I talk to an agent or a executive around the sport, what whatever else I'm asking about, I go, hey, you're hearing anything on Bellinger.
01:01What do you think? And the majority think.
01:05And again, for whatever this is worth, they're not in the negotiation, but they're veteran people who think he'll end up a Yankee.
