00:00Trains are just always delayed, so being a lot more on time because we're always late to college because of the trains.
00:06Yeah, on the morning, I come from Outwood, so they only really put like two or three carriages on.
00:13So everyone has to stand up and it like, it puts me in a really bad mood in the morning because you're just so cramped.
00:19So like, you literally cannot sit down and it's so hot and it's like, you cannot get on, it's awful.
00:25HS2 was cancelled, so this is, I don't know if this is HS2 Lite.
00:30But any improvement to the railway service would be great to see.
00:34Times, you know, shaving a few minutes off here and there.
00:37Yeah, I'm not sure if that's a great thing.
00:39Punctuality, cost, that's what we want to see.
00:42And if we could get some reductions in the fares, get people out of their cars, onto the trains, that's great.
00:51One problem we're all facing, sometimes we take long chains for like two hours and we don't have seats to sit.
00:56It's usually so crowded and busy, so we'd be standing for two hours, that's annoying.
01:01We've travelled around, mostly in and out of London from the north and the sort of northeast.
01:08Trains have been fine.
01:09Probably could do with some more cross rail going across the country as well as just north and south.
01:15But no, our experience would be pretty good.
01:17Could be a bit more, better priced, but apart from that, yeah, I'm pretty happy.
01:22You get like some trains that are massive and there's no one on there, but you also get some trains that are tiny and everyone's stood up, you know, wandering around.
01:31In fact, I was in a train the other day to Manchester where I was in, I was on the people in the toilet area just chilling, like it was so busy.
01:43So that's my main experience.
01:45Price is all right.
01:46It's cheaper for me to go by train than it is to get a car.
01:48So it works quite well for me, I can't complain, but it does, it is annoying sometimes, like just little things I would think could be figured out, kind of aren't figured out, you know.
01:58More carriages, more seats, extended platforms, because the overcrowding, especially for disabled people, is a lot worse.
02:06It's really nice that we're actually getting some money funded to not just like this city, but also the north in general, as the government historically, no matter what party really,
02:16has always had more of a bias towards feeding resources towards the south.
02:21I feel like it's been the same since the seventies and Thatcher and all that.
02:24So it's nice to see that we're actually getting some funding.
02:27But what's more important, I think, for funding is like transport within the city.
02:31While I find it's important for us to have like HS2, that's a really important like infrastructure project for us to continue going on with.
02:40It would be so much better if we had trams or some better form of metro in this city.
02:45I'm sure as you know yourself, it's a nightmare driving, it's a nightmare getting a bus because of how much traffic is actually here.
02:51Maybe improve timing more, more often, more frequent, make sure they actually do turn up so people aren't late for work or college.
02:59So, yeah.
