00:00Harbaugh's all signs point to championship coach taking charge of Big Blue.
00:05You know what? Our Giants beat writer for the Post, Paul Schwartz, broke that news late last night
00:10and he broke down exactly how Joe Shane and management got their guy.
00:15The news that all Giants fans have been waiting to hear came down late Wednesday night.
00:20John Harbaugh will be the coach of the New York football Giants.
00:23Some Giants fans were upset. We let him out of the building.
00:26Well, yes, they let him out of the building, but negotiations continued.
00:30The Giants knew being first John Harbaugh, the first team to get him into the building was important.
00:36Harbaugh was going to go speak with the Titans and then possibly the Falcons.
00:40The Giants didn't want to see him make those meetings, and so they jumped to action.
00:45They negotiated long into the night. This is a big, big, big get for this franchise.
00:50Could be a franchise-altering move.
00:53So it sounds like they played chess, not checkers.
00:57And when Paul says that this could be a franchise-altering move, I think that he is absolutely correct.
01:02And this was every Giants fan when Paul broke that news.
01:06I do the in-game entertainment at the games.
01:23A lot of y'all Giants fans actually dance like that, but, you know, there's something to celebrate.
01:28There's something to be happy about because it gives hope.
01:30And it gives Giants fans that feeling like Stringer Bell from the show The Wire.
01:35I want you to get the word out there that we back up.
01:38Everybody was all in on John Harbaugh when the Ravens let him go.
01:44And that's because he was that candidate that was the closest to being a sure thing hire out of anyone else that they interviewed or anyone else that was out there.
01:53Those candidates that were already interviewed and the four head coaches hired after Tom Coughlin, you had to sell something about that coach and that hire.
02:03Not John Harbaugh.
02:04The resume speaks for itself.
02:06He checks every single box.
02:08And we're going to be all over all this Harbaugh hire news.
02:12So make sure you stay locked in to the New York Post Sports by heading over to the website and, of course, all of our social channels.
02:23We're going to be all over to the website.
