00:04are bragging about a little something yesterday online.
00:07And a buddy of mine said, hey, did you see the Jets announced that
00:09they did something that has not been done for the last couple of years
00:13in the NFL, and they're actually promoting and touting
00:16their success in one particular area?
00:19And I said, come on, man.
00:20Like, I was born, but I wasn't born yesterday.
00:22And I'm fully AI, functional, literate.
00:26I know a dumb story when I see one.
00:28I know a fake story when I see one.
00:30Everybody goes, no, no, not AI, not fake, not, you know,
00:33like, you know, jockstrap sports, none of that stuff.
00:37They're a real story.
00:39And I did a little research on it, Tyrone.
00:41The New York Jets announced yesterday, and frankly,
00:44were bragging about the fact that they are the first and only team
00:49since 2023, so two years.
00:52But I guess when you're the Jets, you got to grab onto anything you got.

00:56Again, they're the first and only team since 2023 to start the same five
01:02offensive linemen for all 17 games.

01:11Well, it gets you mocked is what it gets you.
01:14I mean, what the hell is that?
01:15When you're a three-win football team, when you have a head coach that nobody
01:20wants back, when you don't have a legitimate quarterback on your roster,
01:24when you traded your two best, or arguably your two best defensive players.
01:29You did.
01:30When your coach hates the media, when the fan base hates the coach,
01:33when in a year of great coaching talent being available,
01:37you decide we're sticking with the guy that won three games
01:40because we don't want to pay two coaches at the same time anymore.
01:44This is what you do.
01:45You grasp at straws.
01:47You grasp at pathetic things to try to pump yourselves up
01:51when there's nothing really good to say.
01:53This, to me, is the perfect example of what's wrong with the New York Jets.
01:59The New York Jets, if it was up to me,
02:01and I was in charge of their media planning and social media planning,
02:05I would disappear for a while.
02:07Yeah.
02:08I wouldn't be in the news cycle at all.
02:10I wouldn't have a press conference.
02:12I wouldn't do interviews.

02:13I would try to make it easier for people to forget that I exist.
02:17And then, if I get a great quarterback in the draft,
02:21Dante Moore or whoever it might be,
02:23if I have a couple great picks that I'm proud of and I want to promote,
02:27then I say, hey, everybody, I'm back.
02:30Yo, I took a little break.
02:31But the fact that the Jets are trying to get positive attention
02:35for something that no Jet fan cares about
02:40or wants to hear about is everything wrong
02:44and tone deaf with the New York Jets.
02:47And the other part is nobody would care in any city about this
02:50unless somehow that offensive line was the reason they won a bunch of games.
02:54Or, hey, guess what?
02:56The Super Bowl champion Jets are sending their entire offensive line to the Pro Bowl.
