Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has delivered a fiery tirade against US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as anti-regime protests across Iran turn violent. In a televised address, Khamenei accused foreign powers of fueling unrest and vowed the Islamic Republic would not back down, despite widespread demonstrations in over 100 cities.
Protesters have clashed with security forces, with reports of dozens killed, thousands arrested, and a nationwide internet blackout implemented to curb communication. The unrest, sparked by economic collapse and political anger, has seen crowds call for the overthrow of the Supreme Leader and the return of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the late Shah.

00:00My dear young people, to all of you who are the future, the deep and abiding strength of your faith and religion,
00:04the clarity of your political thought and understanding, your crucial and impactful presence among us,
00:07and your constant stay of readiness and preparedness, and your deep commitment and seriousness in working to improve our nation
00:11must be diligently safeguarded. It is absolutely vital that you preserve your strong unity and always maintain your collective solidarity.
00:18A nation that is truly united will always be able to prevail against any enemy.
00:23It has become evident that there are individuals whose deliberate actions are focused on committing acts of vandalism
00:32within the capital city of Tehran and various other urban centers.
00:35Just last night, a considerable number of people, clearly motivated by a desire for destruction and chaos,
00:39took to the streets and proceeded to completely destroy a significant building that was, in fact, the property of their own country.
00:46For example, they went as far as to completely demolish a large section of a building's exterior wall,
00:51solely for the purpose of pleasing the United States President.
00:55Because he had clearly stated that particular point.
00:59Well, he made a point, you know, about the irrelevance of other concerns,
01:03stating quite clearly that if the Iranian government were to take any kind of action,
01:06then we would absolutely be there to support you.
01:11They actually support the rioters, and also those individuals who are actively detrimental to the country's overall well-being,
01:17and they truly believe that he will come to their aid and provide them with assistance, if he is truly capable of doing so.
01:22He really ought to be managing his own nation.
01:24There are quite a few important matters, a great many significant events occurring within his homeland.
01:30The Islamic Republic will not tolerate the presence of mercenaries or any foreign individuals.
01:35No matter who you are, if you choose to become a mercenary for foreign powers,
01:38if you decide to work for foreign entities...
01:40The nation...
01:44We will regard you as rejected, and you will be rejected by us.
01:49The Islamic Republic will also reject you.
01:53And what we're discussing here today specifically concerns the riots.
01:56We often find that powerful autocrats and oppressive dictators throughout the course of human history,
02:19such as prominent figures like Reza Khan, Mohammed Reza Shah, and all those who governed with a similar iron fist.
02:25When they reached the very height of their excessive pride and arrogance, they were overthrown.
02:30So he will undoubtedly be toppled as well.
02:34His hands are stained, truly drenched with the blood of more than a thousand innocent Iranians.
02:40In the Twelve-Day War, over 1,000 people were killed or injured, a devastating outcome.
02:46People who are from...
02:47Uh, setting aside the generals, the scientists, and various other individuals,
02:52quite separate from the vast masses of people.
02:55They were, without a doubt, martyrs.
02:57And he then stated quite clearly that I was the one who gave the order.
03:01I was the one in charge, commanding the entire war.
03:03Consequently, he then admitted that his hands...
03:06Uh, their hands are deeply stained with the innocent blood of the Iranian people.
03:09But his hollow claim that he truly supports the Iranian populace,
03:12and a number of, uh, individuals who lack any real experience,
03:15who simply do not pay close attention to the truth.
03:18Uh, without proper vigilance, you might find yourself believing his every word,
03:21and then acting precisely as he desires.
03:23They intentionally ignited a rubbish bin, performing this act solely to gain his approval.
03:30This nation, this system, has been built with the precious blood of hundreds of thousands of our people.
03:46Its very foundations are deeply rooted and firmly based upon this immense sacrifice.
03:50And in the face of those who would seek to sow discord and commit acts of vandalism,
03:54the Islamic Republic will never, ever back down from its principles.
