00:00Yes, well, the cost of living is our number one priority for this government, because we know people have been really finding it hard to get through to the end of the month.
00:07So I'm so delighted that we can announce today that mortgages have fallen by almost £1,400 since Labour came to power.
00:14And that's a real difference in people's pockets. That's money they can put towards a holiday and to help them deal with bills and the cost of living.
00:21So I'm really pleased that we've been able to create the economic climate to make sure that this money goes back into people's pockets and mortgages are coming down.
