Trinidad and Tobago's airspace is open and completely safe. It's the assurance coming from the Minister of Civil Aviation, Eli Zakour.

00:15No, there's absolutely no risk and I have no reports of any aircraft being affected.
00:21In terms of status, the airspace is open, what about international airlines?
00:24It's open.
00:25Now what you would have saw, it was the FAA would have put out a NOTAM, notice to airmen.
00:30So U.S. carriers at the time, there was some level of restrictions.
00:34But that NOTAM has since expired and flights have resumed.
