The winners of the New York Film Critics Awards dazzled on the red carpet in New York on Tuesday.

Australian Rose Byrne won best actress for "If I Had Legs I’d Kick You," Amy Madigan was named best supporting actress for "Weapons," and Brazilian actor Wagner Moura took home the award for best actor for the Brazilian political thriller "The Secret Agent."

Filmmaker Carson Lund received the award for best film for "Eephus," while directors Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang won best animated film for the Netflix animated supernatural musical "K-Pop Demon Hunters,"
According to its website, the Circle was founded in 1935 and includes critics from daily and weekly newspapers, magazines, and qualifying online general-interest publications.

Each December, the organization meets in New York to vote on awards honoring films from the previous calendar year.
