00:00In this bamboo studio tutorial you learn how to add a color to text in a few
00:04simple steps. An earlier video shows how you can add text to your models. The link
00:12is in the description. First click on objects if it's not active yet. Select
00:22the text and click on right mouse button. Choose edit text. For operation
00:29make sure part is selected. This will cause the text to appear on instead of
00:34inside the model. Enter a text thickness of 0.50 millimeter and click on this
00:40button to exit the menu. The text is now ready to be colored. First add a filament
00:50color by clicking this plus button next to project filaments. Click on the number
00:55to change the color and choose red for example. Click on OK to apply. You see
01:02colors are added to the objects. Let's select the text object here inside the
01:10assembly. Click on the box and choose the red color you just added.
01:17the entire text will be printed in that color. Click on Preview to see what this
01:27looks like.
01:33Let's scroll through the layers to see the print lines of the text. I hope this
01:40gives you some additional insight into 3D printing colored text on your models.
