00:00In other news, Venezuela consolidated its position as the country with the highest economic growth in Latin America and the Caribbean during 2025, with a 6.5% increase in gross domestic product.
00:12According to a report issued by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the CLAC, the boost is due to stronger domestic demand and robust consumption, which has revitalized the country's industrial and commercial sectors.
00:26Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro described the achievement as a victory for the country's productive forces obtained in the midst of financial siege and unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government.
