00:00I'm in Seoul, South Korea right now,
00:01and this is easily one of the most futuristic cities in the world.
00:04I mean, just look at the shopping center.
00:06So, let's buy the craziest tech we can find and then test it
00:08to find out does Korea put the West to shame?
00:11This is my buddy Keith.
00:12He's going to give us the local lowdown.
00:14Hey, hey.
00:14All right, let's go.
00:15Is that the entire vacuum cleaner?
00:18What?
00:19Never in my life have I seen a vacuum cleaner like this.
00:21Typical Dyson vacuum, which is already pretty slick.
00:25And then the pencil vac.
00:26At first, they launched it in Japan and Korea only.
00:29In the States, they use more carpets.
00:30So, they need stronger vacuums.
00:32Enough said.
00:33Let's buy a litter robot.
00:35Korea has the biggest pet industry, I believe,
00:37due to the low birth rate.
00:39So, people instead of kids are having pets.
00:41So, then they have a lot of money to spend on those pets.
00:43Exactly.
00:44So, the cat just kind of like gets in like that.
00:47And then I've seen something interesting.
00:49Oh, I thought it said boyfriend mini.
00:50Although, body friend mini isn't a lot better.
00:53This looks like a pretty serious bit of kit.
00:55I've never seen massager in a form factor like this.
00:57You sit on it.
00:58What?
00:58I'm sorry.
00:59You sit, then you put your feet on it.
01:01So, it's designed just for feet.
01:02Anything, anything.
01:04That is for your scalp.
01:05Oh, I love a scalp massage.
01:07Oh, wow.
01:08What the hell?
01:09I'm quite scared of it.
01:10It's just not the way I thought it would move.
01:12Koreans love massage.
01:14And growing up, one of the things that we do for our parents is like massage them.
01:18It became such a luxury thing that you give to your parents.
01:20I have a feeling this could be an expensive video.
01:22I keep seeing this MediCube brand all over the place.
01:25Pretty soft looking device.
01:27What am I looking at?
01:27It's a machine that massages your face.
01:29Ah, does it actually hurt?
01:30It's electrocuting me.
01:31Oh my goodness.
01:32But this is only level one.
01:33There's level five as well.
01:35So, five minutes a day, you electrocute yourself.
01:38But it gets rid of your wrinkle.
01:40Well, I know.
01:40Let's get one of these.
01:41This is such a cool gamification of shopping.
01:43If I can stop it at exactly 625, I win the product free.
01:53A school.
01:54No way.
01:58It's actually one of the very few countries where we just feel like we can leave our stuff there
02:02completely unattended and carry on shopping.
02:05One absolutely insane thing I've noticed about Korea.
02:07I've been here for seven days.
02:08My phone has not even dropped 5G once.
02:11But also, I'm on the subway Wi-Fi.
02:14Look at this.
02:16That is absolutely bonkers.
02:18Is this the free public Wi-Fi?
02:20This is a product I've had my eyes on since CES.
02:23It's called the LG Moodmate.
02:25And because Korea is the home of LG, this is the only country you can buy it in.
02:28So it's a projector, it's a speaker, and it's mood lighting.
02:32I've never seen that combo.
02:33So I've just found out Korea has its own Maps app.
02:35They don't use much Google here.
02:36But it shows you in real time where each of the trains are on their track.
02:41And then because you have perfect Wi-Fi while you're sitting here,
02:43you will be able to see in real time your train approaching.
02:46Convenient.
02:50I don't think I've ever seen a street like this in my life.
02:52The lights, the size of the buildings.
02:54Hello.
02:56Whoa.
02:56And then the main reason we're here is South Korea is the home of Samsung.
03:03So this is basically the Samsung flagship store of the world.
03:08I absolutely love their customization here.
03:11So these must be different flip suit cases that will also interact with the front of the phone.
03:16Would you rock this?
03:16I would rock that.
03:17Yeah.
03:18So that's Keith's case.
03:19Let's see what Keith's wallpaper is going to look like.
03:21Oh, fire.
03:24That's a monstrosity.
03:27These are earphone cases, right?
03:29But they're selling Almond Breeze earphone cases in the official flagship Samsung store of the world.
03:35Doesn't this look 100% like an AliExpress $2 product?
03:39The shutter sounds are on on every single phone we've tested.
03:42Korea has a hidden chem problem.
03:44People will secretly film you.
03:45That's why there's the sound.
03:47You cannot turn it off.
03:48That's insane.
03:48We're here.
03:49This is Electromart.
03:50This is tech paradise, specifically designed around Gen Z, who has no concentration span.
03:55Having your own video game playing at the entrance to your store is such a flex.
04:00This is amazing.
04:01There's so many colors pulling me in every single direction.
04:04I don't even know where to start.
04:06Wait.
04:07They've got a keyboard here where you can't see the letters at all from the top.
04:11But then you can see the letters from your seating position.
04:13It's so minimal.
04:14Okay, so this is the company's flagship keyboard.
04:17It's about $100, which is not bad at all.
04:20I'm so curious how this stacks up.
04:21I don't think I've ever seen a density of interesting tech products this high.
04:25Oh yeah, you know we're in Korea now.
04:26Look at this.
04:27Kakao is like WhatsApp, but they have characters.
04:30Your messaging app has its own character.
04:32This store has its own character.
04:34Characters are huge here.
04:35People love cute stuff.
04:36Wireless earphones where the face moves.
04:39How does that even work?
04:40All of this stuff is secured.
04:42This is the stuff that gets stolen.
04:43Yeah, you're right.
04:45There's a full arcade.
04:46Are you serious?
04:52Can you get like a close-up shot of my score versus hers?
04:55Yeah, that's nice.
04:56Pretty cool way to get people into your shop.
04:58There's an algae section here.
04:59I've never seen that before.
05:01So this controls lighting, temperature, humidity so that you can grow plants.
05:05Which makes sense because no one has gardens here.
05:07Everyone lives in apartments.
05:08What the hell is going on here?
05:10So they're saying there's one of these in the world.
05:12And I've just realized all these stickers are applied by hand.
05:15And the whole thing is built by hand.
05:16I'm so curious how it sounds.
05:18Is it a working suitcase too?
05:19Why is the thing like 400 kilos?
05:22Oh, I'd actually argue this one looks a little more tasteful.
05:25I mean, it's still not great.
05:26Why do all these products look so beaten up?
05:28Do they make it and then punch it on the way out of the factory?
05:32Off we go.
05:34I don't think anyone has ever bought the speaker before.
05:37So we're the first one.
05:38They're trying to figure out how we can actually buy it and take it home.
05:42They were like, just take the speaker.
05:43And I'm like, but there should be other things that come with it.
05:45That's hilarious.
05:47It's a bottle opener, but also a Bluetooth speaker.
05:52What is that?
05:53AI ScanTalk.
05:55I've gone around the whole box and I still have no idea what it does.
05:59Only one way to find out.
06:00There's something here that I've never seen before.
06:02All these massive brands, Braun, Logitech, Philips, doing lucky boxes.
06:07You don't know which of these shavers you're going to get.
06:09Yeah.
06:09This is literally a lottery system.
06:11There's the least number of the most expensive ones.
06:12It's definitely one of the weird and wonderful things about Korea that we have to try.
06:17Okay, last stop.
06:19And this could be the coolest.
06:20This is Lotte Highmark, the biggest electronics retailer in the whole of South Korea.
06:26No way.
06:27That is so cool.
06:28It lights up on the ground itself.
06:31Presumably so that if you're walking with your head down looking at your phone,
06:34you still know whether it's good to go.
06:36Then it turns red when you can't cross.
06:38Let's see if this can top Electromart.
06:40Why is it so large?
06:42Oh, this is not a real product.
06:47I'll just cut that out.
06:49God, that is pretty ugly.
06:53It's like a belt buckle.
06:54It'll actually pair really well with your Virtue smartphone.
06:57Wow.
06:58As far as robots go, incredibly quiet, smooth and slick.
07:03I love how the user interface is really cleanly embedded into like the head of the bot.
07:08Oh, is that a Balmuda equivalent?
07:10The Balmuda is literally my favorite toaster of all time.
07:14But the thing's over $300.
07:16I think it does the same thing, but it's $70.
07:19I think we have ourselves a showdown.
07:21So I just came to the convenience store to get a sandwich.
07:23Look at this.
07:24Noodles of every single spice level.
07:26This is absolutely a mistake, but let's go extreme.
07:28So you stick your noodles into this pot.
07:30This machine then scans the barcode and knows how much water to put in and then how long to cook it for.
07:34So then you grab things that you want to put into noodles from the convenience store and then just drop them in.
07:41It's actually eatable and like delicious.
07:43I get the feeling that Korean spice tolerance is not as extreme as the Indian that I'm used to.
07:48I've just found a Korean company who makes a band that you can wear around your head that's meant to
07:52calm down your overstimulated brain so that you can sleep.
07:55I'm buying it right now because that could actually be my dream tech product.
07:58So that is just under $3,000 spent, but we got a lot of tech for that.
08:04So let's test it in this absolutely gorgeous hanok, a traditional Korean house built with natural
08:09materials like wood, earth and stone to find out just how good do Koreans have it.
08:14Also, can't wait to see if we won big with our lucky box.
08:17Let's kick things off with the scalp massager because I did not realize this when I was buying it.
08:21I actually spent $130 on this thing.
08:24So I'm fairly eager to find out if I got my money's worth or not.
08:28Oh my god.
08:33It just gets right into the skin of your scalp while being fairly respectful of your hair.
08:39Actually, you should probably be the judge of that.
08:40Does my hair look okay?
08:41It looks bad.
08:43It looks bad.
08:44Great.
08:45And I can start to see why this costs so much.
08:47Because it's the bristles which stimulate your scalp surface.
08:50It's got dual red and infrared lights here which get a little deeper to encourage more blood flow
08:54to your scalp.
08:55It's IPX7 water resistant so you can use it in the shower.
08:58Which actually makes a lot of sense.
09:00I kept thinking it looks like a repurposed shower head.
09:03And then, I didn't even clock this before.
09:04But this section here lets you put treatment oil in which they also provided.
09:08This one says it can reduce hair loss by 60%.
09:11And it will be slowly dispensed onto your scalp via the eight rollers also on the massager.
09:17Oh my god, this is the carrying pouch.
09:19That is so unbelievably soft.
09:23Seriously, Korea, this is incredible.
09:25This product is like a perfect 10.
09:27Now I'm curious if the company's plate massager can surpass expectations in the same way.
09:33Oh, there's actually quite a few more bits in this box than I anticipated.
09:37So this is how we saw the thing in the store.
09:50Oh, that really is just a better version of a normal massage gun.
09:54What can I say?
09:55Two heads equals twice the fun.
09:57The website says...
09:59Well, I have absolutely no idea to be honest.
10:01So this feels like as good a time as any to bring in our AI scan talk.
10:06Because it turns out this is a completely offline AI smart translator.
10:11So you just hold it at a 70 to 90 degree angle and swipe it across the surface you're trying to read.
10:16And it's saying this massager is for...
10:18My wife, tired of parenting.
10:22Oh, poor wife.
10:24I didn't think I'd like this in an era of Google Translate,
10:26but it is impressively fast at translating.
10:29And I really like that it just straight away reads out the translation.
10:32Is it better than just Google Translate though?
10:34To my wife who is tired from raising children.
10:37If anything, that makes a bit more sense.
10:38Plus it translates the entire page in one photo.
10:41I do like though the fact that it has this tap to translate button.
10:44So you push that in, say what you want to say.
10:46And when you let go, it pretty much instantly translates it.
10:50It's not bad.
10:50That is slightly quicker than doing it on your phone.
10:52But then you've got the whole extra hassle of having to charge and carry around this thing.
10:56This massager, I had absolutely no idea it was going to come with all of these different plates
11:01for different parts of your body.
11:03So this is the flat plate designed to massage your waist.
11:06Oh, am I doing this right?
11:09I can't say I've ever massaged my waist before.
11:12I don't hate it.
11:13There's the cupping plate to massage both of your arms, calves or thighs at the same time.
11:19Oh yeah, that's good.
11:21Oh, it fits like a glove around your body.
11:24I wonder if we can just rest our arms on it like that.
11:27Oh yeah.
11:28I don't even know what muscle it's relaxing right now, but it feels amazing.
11:32But the craziest one is they even have an acupressure head for your feet.
11:36So massager goes on the floor and they've even given us the vibration absorbing mat to place it on.
11:42Oh, that's actually the best one yet.
11:44Like this, after a long day of walking, would be...
11:49We can't even take most of this stuff back with us.
11:51So later this video, let's find a nice Korean person to just give it all away to.
11:56And they will be getting the package of a lifetime.
11:59Now while I'm in the process of getting pampered, we might as well de-age myself too,
12:03by adding the Medicube Booster Pro into the mix.
12:06And of course, because it's Korea, the one we got is themed after a manga called Crayon Shinchan.
12:11So it starts with sticker sheets.
12:14Then you've got this...
12:15It looks like a nappy, but it's actually a hairband to keep the hair off your face.
12:21Then the themed cap that goes on top of your booster, followed by...
12:25I think this is just a minifigure for the sake of a minifigure.
12:29And then this box has the device itself inside.
12:32As with everything else in this country, the extent they go to with the theming is just unmatched.
12:37Now I thought, based on my extreme top 1% performance on that reaction test,
12:42that I had just won the product itself for free.
12:44What I actually won is one day's worth of Salmon Egg Extract Serum with High Purity Salmon.
12:52Oh, that's very nice and pink.
12:53She smells flowery.
12:55Just level one of this thing nearly took me out in the store.
12:58So the goal now is level five on my face.
13:02This is just ridiculous.
13:03The boot up sequence is themed.
13:05Even the intensity slider is themed after this crayon shinchan manga.
13:10Level three, level four, level five.
13:13Oh, I don't like the way it says level five.
13:16Oh god, oh god.
13:19Oh, that's fine.
13:21That's fine.
13:22That's fine.
13:23Yeah.
13:28It comes and goes in waves, but goodness me, I'm so scared right now.
13:32I mean, don't get me wrong, the benefits of this are meant to be insane.
13:34Like it stimulates your facial muscles to reduce wrinkles, makes your skin more permeable.
13:39So your egg salmon extract is more effective.
13:42It can shrink your pores and it probably defibrillates someone as well while you're at it.
13:47But one thing I have realized while I've been here is Koreans are willing to do a lot for their skin.
13:52I actually went to a skin analysis clinic.
13:55They gave me a 32 out of 100 and then recommended a seven step skincare regimen that would genuinely take
14:01me an extra 30 minutes of my time per day just to execute.
14:05So you can completely see how this product is massive in this country.
14:08And I would love to try and integrate it in my own life too.
14:11So I'm going to give it an optimistic eight.
14:14But I can also see how adding 10 minutes per day of high voltage,
14:17voluntary electrocution to your evening routine is not going to be for everyone.
14:22So I massaged and mildly charged.
14:24What I need now is some refreshments.
14:26So for our drink, here's the bottle opener from that really weird speaker company, Boommaster.
14:31Wow.
14:32Thing's absolutely tiny.
14:34I like the little carabiner that you can latch onto it.
14:36And it's USB-C charging too.
14:38They've made this thing so easy to just keep with you at all times.
14:42Is it a good bottle opener?
14:47Kind of.
14:48The shape doesn't give you a massive amount of leverage.
14:50So is it a good speaker?
14:52Whoa.
14:54Wow.
14:56Wait, that's amazing.
14:58I thought this would be so bad.
15:00It's like $15 and made by a beer company.
15:03But wow.
15:04If Boommaster can do that with a speaker this tiny,
15:06what are they going to do with that enormous suitcase?
15:09And now for a bite to eat, we got our cuckoo toaster.
15:14The potential to beat the Balmuda toaster at its own game
15:17for a quarter of the price is very tantalizing.
15:23So here's my Balmuda.
15:24This is the cuckoo and it's a little bit cuckoo,
15:28just how closely this has copied the Balmuda.
15:31So just like the Balmuda where you use this tiny, adorable little mug
15:34to add a bit of water into the top here,
15:36with the cuckoo, you just instead fill this miniature jug on the inside.
15:39So bread goes inside.
15:41The idea being that the water we've just placed inside these machines
15:44will become steam and coat the outside of that bread.
15:47And because those water droplets will heat up faster than the air,
15:50the outside will crisp up while keeping the inside soft and fluffy.
15:54So start.
15:57Love this knob.
15:58And then on the cuckoo, sadly, quite a lot less satisfying.
16:01They're both getting very steamy.
16:03So while they cook, let's have a look at our earphones.
16:06I still find it so strange that this country's WhatsApp equivalent,
16:10KakaoTalk, is out here making earphones with a swappable face on them.
16:13But it's kind of refreshing too.
16:15It really feels like people in this country are not afraid to love cute things.
16:19It's not seen as childlike.
16:21This is the second product we've tested that connects up to your bag.
16:23There's a real thing here about people picking mascots and symbols
16:26as a way to broadcast their identity.
16:28So you swipe to pick your emotion.
16:30It is slicker than I thought it would be.
16:31Just not the most practical,
16:33because you might have to swipe multiple times to get to your earphones.
16:35Or the charging port.
16:36It's actually pretty unusual that that's inside.
16:38And they sound pretty much exactly what you'd expect $20 earphones to sound like.
16:42Not great, but also not bad.
16:44So 6 out of 10, considering they were cheap.
16:47The time has come.
16:49To eat.
16:50So the idea is you blindfold me and then you shuffle around the toast,
16:53so I can't tell the difference.
16:58These are actually both very good looking slices of toast.
17:02They've got that crispy outer shell, but also that bounce.
17:05That's how you know it's good inside.
17:07So we'll just butter the same parts of both slices.
17:10Good slice of toast.
17:16Whether that's the Balmoudra or not, it's got it.
17:19It's got that magic.
17:20Okay, this is an important moment.
17:25It's not quite as good.
17:27It's a little bit crispier throughout.
17:30But if that's a 10, that's still very close at a 9.
17:33I'm going to guess that's the cuckoo.
17:34That's the best toast.
17:35No, no, seriously.
17:39A quarter of the price.
17:41The best toast I've ever eaten in my life.
17:46Texture so good, you could eat it butterless.
17:48Which I guess means...
17:49That may seem dramatic, but we will come back to that.
17:57So, so far, I'm actually a little jealous.
17:59Koreans seem to have it very good when it comes to the quality of their tech.
18:03But I'm curious if that translates to a completely different product category.
18:08The keyboard.
18:09That is stunning.
18:11So the selling point here appears to be two things.
18:14One, clearly, the aesthetic.
18:16It's got gamery elements with the translucent body and the configurable lighting.
18:20And it has all that fun stuff while still feeling quite refined.
18:24Oh my god.
18:24This one might be even better.
18:26It's like lighting the entire zone around the key you're pressing.
18:29It's just so satisfying.
18:30And then the second is the typing experience.
18:33Thanks to two extra silicon layers.
18:35One just below the keys and then one at the base of the entire thing.
18:38You can actually see it through this back plate.
18:40This should translate to really low resonance.
18:43So the only thing that you feel is the specific key that you're pressing.
18:50Oh yeah.
18:51I have a weird thing with keyboards.
18:53This is actually ridiculously nice to type on.
18:56But it goes down so smooth.
18:58You feel the sudden actuation when you press each key down a certain amount.
19:02But the sound is so clean.
19:04I don't have much more to say apart from the fact that I want it.
19:07I want it and I'm going to find a way to import it when I get back.
19:10I accidentally bought the wired version because I didn't have my AI scan talk at the time.
19:15But there is a wireless one too.
19:17Maybe I'll say 9.5 just because I can't keep handing out 10s.
19:21All right, I'll admit.
19:22The breadcrumbs on the floor that are now starting to permeate my socks are really getting to me.
19:28But the reason that I put them there is to test the Dyson pencil back.
19:31It is so cool seeing a product completely engineered around Asian culture.
19:36Something that, at least based on what we were told, might struggle in the US.
19:39Because of all the carpet that needs more suction and a bigger storage container.
19:44And go.
19:47Whoa.
19:51Incredible.
19:52It's so straight and it's so maneuverable.
19:54It just feels like an extension of my arm.
19:56This is like my new superpower.
19:58Obviously, this is not the most difficult thing you can give to a vacuum cleaner.
20:01But nothing about the suction power feels any less than much bigger vacuums I've tested before.
20:06Oh, and it fits so smoothly underneath cabinets.
20:09And if you had sofas.
20:11I love the LEDs too.
20:12They're on both sides.
20:13Wait a second.
20:14Look what happens to the dirt when I turn the thing on.
20:19So it's compressing it into the top by taking out as much of the air inside as possible.
20:23I mean, there's absolutely a limit to how much you're going to be able to fit into this chamber.
20:27But it's cool to see them using tech to try and maximize what is there.
20:31The only problem, and we kind of saw this coming, is the battery.
20:34Because while it is cool that it's counting down in seconds how long it has left,
20:37it's not great that that time is 20 minutes when I've only been using it for five.
20:42And then apparently you kind of shoot the contents of this container into your trash.
20:47Whoa.
20:48That's a cool mechanism.
20:50It means there's like a 0% chance that you actually physically come into contact with the dirt.
20:55Although, caveat, I'd say the container isn't as emptied as it would be on a traditional
20:58vacuum cleaner.
20:59And then it's all finished off with a dock for the first time.
21:02It's magnetic.
21:03I love this thing.
21:04I mean, 25 minutes of battery is at least a third less than what you'd get on a traditional
21:08vacuum cleaner.
21:09It's a good 25 minutes.
21:10Yeah.
21:11This thing is so maneuverable that you could probably get more done in that time.
21:15We've waited long enough.
21:17I think it's time we find out what is going on with this suitcase.
21:20I didn't even think about how you get it open.
21:23Oh.
21:24Yes.
21:25Okay.
21:26Oh.
21:28Oh.
21:28What the hell?
21:29That is thick.
21:30So it kind of doubles as a suitcase.
21:33To be honest, the rest of it looks enough like an explosive.
21:37Would you take this to an airport?
21:39I'm a little nervous to turn this thing on.
21:41It feels like you could pilot a World War II aircraft on this thing.
21:44If you can get past security.
21:47Korean music is so catchy.
21:52That doesn't sound good at all.
21:55Oh, that's such a bummer.
21:57I mean, we can cut the company some slack.
21:58They literally made one unit of this.
22:00It has been sitting on the store shelf for so long that it's probably 30% dust at this point.
22:06And it looks like someone's sat on the speaker cones.
22:09How was this still in the store?
22:11But some part of me did think we'd found something special here.
22:14I feel like I need a quick win right now to cheer me up.
22:18Okay, the time has come for the lucky box.
22:21So I spent $67 on this.
22:23Let's see the value of what we end up getting.
22:25Gotta say, there is something really funny to me about the idea of gambling on which shaver you get.
22:31Because surely there's a set of features that you know you need when you're choosing your shaver.
22:35And you just might not get them.
22:38Honey, why don't you shave your neck anymore?
22:40Because I didn't win the right features.
22:42Okay, so there are six possible shavers we could win here.
22:44And they range from $80 value all the way to a $250 value.
22:49So I guess, in theory, we can't lose.
22:51Oh.
22:51Oh.
22:52Oh.
22:54Ah.
22:56It's definitely not one of the best ones.
22:57What is this, the 5,000 series?
22:59It's about a hundred dollars.
23:01A hundred dollars.
23:02Can I still shave my neck?
23:04Yes.
23:05Did I have a fun two minutes?
23:07Absolutely.
23:08Should I have just waited for a sale and bought the model I wanted?
23:11Yeah.
23:13It probably should have.
23:14I wasn't mentally prepared for back-to-back L's like this after such a strong start.
23:19I could really do with some relaxation right now.
23:22Thankfully, before we give it all away to someone, these last few products should be able to give me that.
23:26So this is the LG Moodmate.
23:28Cinema and mood lighting.
23:30All in one.
23:31Okay, so this is the mood lighting.
23:37I think the less said about that, the better.
23:39Okay, so you do get different colors.
23:41And I guess the idea is to cast it against a wall more like this.
23:46That's just tragic, isn't it?
23:48And what I didn't realize is you can't even use this terrible mood lighting when you're using the
23:52projector.
23:53I mean, look, I get the idea of having this cool projector when you need it.
23:57And then when you don't need it, it kind of folds up to become a somewhat aesthetic room prop.
24:01But I would way rather just have a proper smart lamp than this.
24:04There's some nice touches here.
24:05I got to admit, like this entire surface is magnetic.
24:08So the remote snaps on wherever you want it to.
24:11And it's got a nice capacitive touch control panel up top.
24:14I think the maneuverability of this is incredible.
24:16You know, the ability to pick it up, put it somewhere else.
24:18I like the fact that you can tilt it and it's got the autofocus.
24:21It's got the auto keystone correction.
24:23So it means that within a second of you having rotated it, the picture has adjusted.
24:27It's 1080p resolution.
24:28It's bright enough that if you're sitting in the dark, it would look great.
24:31And the speakers are pretty punchy.
24:33Finished off by the fact that you can also just directly connect to them as a Bluetooth speaker.
24:37So I would say, forget the mood lighting even exists.
24:39But as a projector, 7.5 out of 10 is just expensive.
24:44All right, so that didn't exactly take my mind to the ethereal plane.
24:48But maybe the Sleepy Soul Plus will.
24:50A headband that uses cranial electrotherapy stimulation to force you to relax.
24:55And there is a very important reason why this exists in Korea.
24:59The big CSAT exam that every student has to sit to get into university is crazy.
25:05We were in the country the day it was happening.
25:06And no flights are allowed to land during a certain portion of it.
25:10Every office was closed in the morning so that kids could get to the exam on time.
25:13And then the police, their entire job that day seemed to be just dropping people who were late off to these exams.
25:19And so you can imagine for the students, the stress levels must be through the roof.
25:23So you're meant to put the Sleepy Soul on for 30 minutes, two times a day to feel the full effect.
25:27So between this and my new skincare routine, I don't think I have time for an exam.
25:32And I have actually been testing this over the last few days.
25:34Here's what happened the first time I put it on.
25:38Ow!
25:41It's shocking me.
25:42Yeah, it really hurts.
25:44It's got this whole app and tons of different modes.
25:46And also this entire menu of supposed benefits it's meant to trigger in your brain.
25:50Like 50% more serotonin to boost your mood and 25% melatonin to induce sleep.
25:55But unlike the MediCube that zaps you, but it zaps you for a specific outcome like improved skin,
26:01this zaps you to make you feel better.
26:03And it does it at completely random intervals.
26:05So you're just sat there biting your nails off, not sure when the next shock is coming.
26:10Plus every time it did come, my eyes started involuntarily flickering.
26:14Which just feels very alarming.
26:16It's like you're getting overridden by machinery.
26:18Attack!
26:19So for me, one out of ten.
26:22Time to give it all away.
26:25First person that recognizes me can have everything.
26:27And because there's absolutely no way that we could carry all this stuff while angling a camera,
26:32I'm using the Insta360 X5, our sponsor, which captures all angles.
26:35So I can just shoot knowing that the camera can use InstaFrame mode to just keep me in the middle
26:39without me needing to even touch an editing program.
26:42And now we wait.
26:43Hey, that's me.
26:46That's nice to meet you.
26:49Let's go again.
26:50That's nice to meet you.
26:50We've been shopping for like a week to try and find the best things in Korea.
26:54Uh-huh.
26:54Would you like it?
26:55All of this?
26:57Everything.
27:00There's a lot of stuff in here.
27:01I bet he didn't see this coming when he first saw me,
27:03which I can actually go back and see because this camera shot both the flat file and the full 360.
27:09With this invisible selfie stick having magically disappeared,
27:13making it look like a floating drone took the shot.
27:16No, is that okay?
27:16Yeah, absolutely.
27:17You take it all, please.
27:18Did you get it?
27:20And if you use the link in the description,
27:22it is 15% off plus a free three-meter selfie stick.
27:25Hey.
27:25Hey.
27:25Good to see you.
27:26Nice to meet you.
27:27It's kind of crazy.
27:31Take care.
27:32Bye-bye.
27:32Bye-bye.
27:33Bye-bye.
27:34Bye-bye.
