00:01Jake, the half-four one-in win against Hanworth, they're low in a sort of competitive game between two sides, going well in the league, so pretty happy after that?
00:08Yeah, massively happy. I think we come off a result last week where I think we were comfortable in the first half of the game and just let it slip, which was annoying.
00:17And we knew a team like Hanworth would never give up. We've played against them many times and they've got good players.
00:24Simon, they've got all their players on the draft until the last minute, so we knew it wouldn't be an easy game at all. So, yeah, really happy.
00:33Yeah, Hanworth's well known for the way they play and the questions they'll ask and they'll keep going and you stood up to that really well, didn't you?
00:40Yeah, I mean, we've got players this season that don't serve responsibilities and we're more than capable to cope with something like that.
00:48And that's why I was saying last week it was a bit disappointing. It was the first time that we've ever sort of let a lead slip and just really just sort of let a game get out of our hands.
00:58Whereas today we weren't winded up and looked comfortable. They had a chance at the end where Gally's made a great save yet again for us.
01:05But yeah, I thought for the whole nine minutes it was pretty comfortable.
01:09It started really bright and obviously got the early goal. Nice finish from Caleb and that was obviously really good to get that early football, wasn't it?
01:15Yeah, I think it just settles you down a little bit. It's sort of, you go into a game like this, big game, I think they're on a real good runner form.
01:22And it's one of those ones, if you can get in front of it early, they then have to come out, which then we get a chance to break on the thing.
01:30We could have scored a couple more, but we'll take the win.
01:33Yeah, I mean, there definitely were chances to get that second, weren't there, which obviously would have given a bit more breathing space, wasn't it?
01:39Yeah, a bit disappointing we didn't actually take one of them because I think there was a couple of times as they're pushing forward, we broke really well.
01:46And it was just the final sort of like, if someone was running the ball, the last touch was a bit too heavy or the way you think if they just calmed down a little bit.
01:54But I suppose in a game, there's a big crowd today. It's an exciting game. As long as we've won, that's the main thing.
02:01It's a really good crowd today and it moves you six points ahead of them, obviously still a long way to go, but it's obviously a big one to sort of get on the board there, isn't it?
02:09Yeah, I think any points you've gained on teams in and around you now is vital, because over this Christmas period you're playing pod games, you'll all start playing each other.
02:17So when you do, it's really good to get those points, it sort of stretches our sort of gap towards the teams fighting for their bases and keeps us intact with everyone as well, which is good.
02:291-0 up at half-time, what was the message to get into the second half?
02:33I think just be aware they're going to come at us, they won't stop. Try and play a little bit more football and play into the right areas if we're like getting pending,
02:42clipping into the channels where their defenders won't like running. And yeah, we seem to do it all right, it's just a shame we didn't sort of score another couple.
02:50They could have got more, but obviously saw it out in the clean sheet, which is always obviously important, isn't it, to get that on the board?
02:57Yeah, I said to Gallic before, I think if he kept the clean sheet, we'd win the game. And again, an amazing save to Keogh, I think like five minutes to go.
03:05And he's done exactly what we asked him, we've got the win, which is good.
03:08Obviously two sides going really well and then both teams won it and Passions have obviously gone over a little bit at the end there, haven't they?
03:15Yeah, obviously the ref's given a couple of red cards, isn't he? Kai, I guess you've just got to take it on the chin really, haven't you?
03:20Yeah, I think, like you say, games like this where there's a lot on line, the tension's a bit higher, everyone on the sidelines, including myself,
03:28I want it a little bit more and it does boil over. I think sometimes it's a hard job for the refs to sort of make decisions.
03:35And it's a shame because we don't want to see one of our players get a red card and likewise their player getting a red card.
03:42But nothing really, there's no punches thrown or anything, it's just sort of handbags a bit and people shout at each other.
03:49So realistically, it's hard for the refs, but it does happen.
03:53Obviously now a full week to prepare for South Park.
03:56What thoughts on that?
03:57Yeah, again, they're going strong, so yeah, we'll have a look at them and just keep doing what we're doing really.
