ACT I — PROLOGUE: OF CHAINS AND SALT (1:56)

Know this, O reader of forgotten ages:
before the world grew old and the ice came down like a burial shroud,
the seas were red with blood and the coasts rang with iron.

Kings ruled by oar and blade,
and men were bought and broken beneath the sun.
Civilization was a thin skin stretched over savagery,
and the strong preyed upon the weak as wolves upon lambs.

Yet in such an age,
even chains may bind the body and not the will.

And there are men whom no master may keep for long.

ACT II — PROLOGUE: THE THRONE OF STOLEN GOLD (4:43)

In the lands where pyramids clawed at the heavens
and the sun was worshipped as a living god,
empires were built upon sacrifice and stone.

Priests spoke with voices older than memory,
and queens ruled by blood and omen.

But fate is a merciless usurper.

From foreign shores came a conqueror,
crowned not by right, but by treachery,
and the people bent beneath a rule that did not know their gods.

In such times, salvation does not ride at the head of armies—
it walks alone,
with dust on its boots and steel in its hand.

ACT III — PROLOGUE: THE CITY THAT BELIEVED ITSELF ETERNAL ( 7:57)

Here rose the mightiest works of men.

Stone upon stone,
arched and measured,
roads that bound the world together like veins of empire.
Water flowed where it should not,
and words were carved so that time itself might remember them.

The people called themselves immortal.

They cheered the spilling of blood beneath vaulted skies
and believed order eternal because it was magnificent.

But the gods are jealous of such certainty.

And every empire, no matter how refined,
rests at last upon the edge of a sword.

ACT IV — PROLOGUE: THE EMPIRE THAT WATCHED ( 12:22)

Beyond the green lands lay the desert,
vast and merciless,
where belief was stronger than steel
and silence was a weapon.

Here, men bowed to one unseen god,
and every breath was measured.
Eyes watched from behind veils,
and secrets carried heavier weight than gold.

Queens whispered to serpents,
and power moved unseen, like poison in wine.

In this land, truth was not denied—
it was simply never spoken aloud.

ACT V — PROLOGUE: THE BLACK GLASS AND THE END OF AGES ( 16:28)

There are places the world itself has cursed.

Wastes where the stone is black as night
and sharp as memory,
where ruins stand that no race dares claim,
and even the wind moves softly, as if afraid.

The ancients named it once—
but the name was lost with their screams.

No man who walks into the Obsidian Desert
returns unchanged,
if he returns at all.

For there lie the bones of ages older than kings,
and truths that the ice itself would soon bury forever.
