00:00The first teaser trailer for Spider-Man Brand New Day just leaked and it is absolutely insane.
00:05Before we go any further, this is going to be your spoiler warning for Spider-Man 4.
00:08If you don't want to be spoiled, now is your time to click off of the video.
00:12So we start off this trailer with an establishing shot of New York City,
00:15while New York I Love You by LCD sound system starts playing in the background.
00:19We get two shots of Peter Parker in his apartment from No Way Home,
00:22one where he's sitting on his bed and another where he's opening up a cabinet,
00:25before we get a narration from him saying,
00:27Hi, my name is Peter Parker. You don't remember me, but we used to know each other.
00:31Something bad was going to happen and the only way to make it stop was to make everyone forget about me.
00:35Very quickly, before we go any further, if you're new around here,
00:37go ahead and hit that subscribe button and turn on those notifications.
00:40We are very quickly approaching 300,000 subscribers and my goal is to hit that
00:44by the time that Spider-Man Brand New Day releases in theaters.
00:47While Peter is saying this, we are getting unfinished VFX montage shots of iconic Spider-Man comic covers,
00:52the first one being Boomerang from The Amazing Spider-Man number 345,
00:55followed by The Spectacular Spider-Man number 1 featuring Tarantula,
00:59and of course, Amazing Fantasy number 15, Spider-Man's debut comic,
01:02which for Homecoming, they had already recreated this once.
01:04We did not see it in the film, but it was a poster that was made,
01:08so I'm glad that we're finally going to get this on screen.
01:10We also have a comic cover being recreated later on in the trailer,
01:12and that is of Ultimate Spider-Man number 3,
01:15where Peter is doing his laundry with the Spider-Man suit in the foreground.
01:18Peter then continues to say,
01:19I'm not just Peter Parker, I'm Spider-Man.
01:21And sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing,
01:23even if it breaks Peter Parker's heart.
01:25And while this is happening,
01:26we see Peter running maskless in his suit on top of a rooftop,
01:29followed by him fighting an army of masked ninjas in red comic accurate costumes.
01:34This would be the hand,
01:35and they were just reported less than a month ago to be returning for this film,
01:37so that makes a whole lot more sense,
01:39and I cannot wait to see their reintroduction into the MCU.
01:42I really hope Madame Gao is in this film.
01:45We then hear Sadie Sink's character saying to Peter,
01:47you're a mess, Spider-Man.
01:49Stay out of my way,
01:50or it won't just be your friends that don't remember you.
01:52While this is happening,
01:53we see Sink's character in an apartment,
01:55moving her arms up in the air,
01:56and then disappearing,
01:57almost like she's shift-shifting or teleporting around the room.
02:00We then hear from an unknown character,
02:01who I believe is going to be the new head of the DODC,
02:04played by Trammell Tillman.
02:05With him saying,
02:06spiders have three life cycles.
02:07Following this,
02:08we get a shot of Peter being shirtless,
02:09falling off of a building,
02:10and catching himself,
02:11and saying,
02:12what is happening?
02:13It looks like he possibly has organic web shooters here,
02:15which is kind of crazy,
02:16because Peter doesn't have that.
02:17We only have seen that with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man,
02:20and honestly,
02:21I'm not a huge fan of this.
02:22I'd rather have Peter have his physical web shooters.
02:24But I feel like this isn't real,
02:26and it very well could just be whatever's happening
02:27with Sadie Sink's reality warping powers
02:29that a character could potentially have.
02:31This is then followed by a shot of Peter
02:33walking up these steps to this university,
02:35and saying,
02:36Dr. Banner,
02:36I really need your help.
02:37And Bruce replies,
02:38you're not one of my students,
02:39are you?
02:40Now this confirms even further,
02:41that the Hulk is going to be making an appearance in this film,
02:44and that Banner is now working as a professor,
02:46most likely at ESU,
02:47but it also very well could be Greyburn College,
02:50where in the 2008 Incredible Hulk film,
02:52Samuel Stern is the leader,
02:53had worked there as a professor in cellular biology.
02:56And I think this very well could tie into the film.
02:58I don't know if he's going to be the one
02:59that created the spider that bit Peter,
03:00but I definitely think he has a hand,
03:02or Bruce even has a hand,
03:03in that origin story.
03:05Second to last,
03:06we get some ashen shots of Spider-Man
03:07swinging throughout New York City,
03:08him riding on the tank that we had seen from the set photos in Glasgow,
03:11with some explosions as Spider-Man swings past the camera,
03:14with New York LW playing,
03:15before the Spider-Man brand new day logo comes into frame.
03:18And that leads us into the final two shots of this trailer,
03:21the first one being,
03:22the Punisher shooting his AR towards camera,
03:24with Spider-Man in the background,
03:25before we cut to Peter,
03:26where he says,
03:27Frank, what are you doing here?
03:29And the Punisher replies,
03:30I'm saving your ass kid,
03:31can't you see that?
03:32And then lastly,
03:32Peter says,
03:33God, you're so annoying.
03:34Followed by the July release date,
03:36coming up on screen,
03:37and ending this trailer.
03:38Now, this is a lot to unpack,
03:40but before you go ahead and call this fake,
03:42Sony has been striking down everyone showing this trailer like crazy.
03:44Even more so than Marvel,
03:46when the first teaser trailer for Avengers Doomsday leaked online,
03:48Sony has been going absolutely nuts with the copyright claims,
03:51to get this scrubbed off of the internet.
03:53And they would not be spending the time in doing this,
03:55if it wasn't real,
03:56and if it wasn't actual footage that we're seeing here.
03:58And this makes me feel like we're back in the No Way Home times,
04:00where we had gotten the first leaked trailer,
04:02and a day later,
04:03Sony dropped the full trailer for us all to see,
04:05but I don't think this is going to happen here.
04:06Most likely, this first trailer is going to be releasing with the Super Bowl,
04:09during or before it,
04:11and that'll be where we publicly get this full trailer.
04:13So luckily, we won't have to wait that much longer.
