01:30Anyway so when you first read J. Kelly did you recognize him?
01:35Did the script make you think I know this guy?
01:39Well I know people who are like that I know some actors who've sort of surrounded themselves with all of these shields to keep them from having to deal with the public
01:49I think because I'm older it's not as much of an issue for me so I was able to play the part without feeling like I was playing myself

02:13Page after page you were connecting to the what you knew what you know about J. Kelly what you know about his publicist what you know about his manager his team
02:25It was nice to see what was written and how real it was
02:31Yeah and then on top of it I think what we know as parents any of us right just feeding into the movie all of our longing to get it right
02:42And not miss it which is so the universal theme of the film and we're never going to get it all right
