01:29Research solutions sought to repair the environmental damage caused by the war and ensure the sustainability of resources for the nascent Bolivia.
01:38In this sense, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that 200 years ago this story of threats, ships and weapons began.

03:33And the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry accuses U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio of promoting
03:37an agenda of destabilization to control the country's natural resources. In a statement,
03:42Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Hill said that Marco Rubio's press conference to take stock of
03:46his tenure has left him in a very bad light, revealing his deceitfulness, insecurity and
03:51hatred for Latin American Caribbean. He also pointed out that allied with the most corrupt Latin American
03:57far-right, his hate speech against Latin America and the Caribbean is a resounding political and

04:14And in the United States, a group of Senate Judiciary Democrats sent a letter to Chairman
04:18Chuck Gressley urging him to hold a hearing on the Trump administration's extrajudicial
04:23executions of alleged drug traffickers via military strikes on boats at sea, which have killed at least
04:2895 people so far. In the midst, if the senators alerted these strikes are extrajudicial killings and
04:34shocking violations of fundamental principles of due process and the right to life under U.S. and
04:39international law. The administration's claims that the people it is killing are guilty of crimes do not
04:44render these extrajudicial killings any less unlawful. In this context, the letter urges the committee
04:49must address the serious concerns that these strikes may violate U.S. criminal laws and that Department of
04:56Justice attorneys who gave President Trump and Secretary Hexeth legal cover to summarily execute
05:02suspected criminals have violated their ethical obligations. Furthermore, the Democrats requested
05:08Chairman Gressley to immediately convene a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing to ensure that those who
05:13authorize these extrajudicial killings are held to account. There is not nor can there be any
05:18justification for state-sanctioned extrajudicial killings. In addition, the Senate Judiciary Democrats
05:24warned how instead of intensifying drug trafficking efforts, President Trump has weakened them. Just
05:29recently, he pardoned Juan Orlando Hernandez, the former president of Honduras, who was convicted of
05:34helping to smuggle 400 tons of cocaine into the U.S. Finally, the letter stresses that the U.S. people want
05:40real solutions to crime and the drug epidemic, not extrajudicial killings committed in their name.
05:52A Mexican president, Claudia Sheinbaum, reiterated Friday her government position of no intervention
05:57in the context of the U.S. aggression against Venezuela. During her morning press conference,
06:01the president affirmed that she will help find a fair solution respecting the sovereignty of the
06:06Venezuelan people and based on the Mexican constitution. Sheinbaum also stressed that she is against all
06:12interventionist policies in the context of the U.S. military presence in the Caribbean.
06:16Our position is, as I have said in recent days, no to intervention. Mexico has always helped and we will be there,
06:31but it is a sovereign position based on our constitution. The Argentine Workers Union condemns
06:39the interference of the United States in Venezuelan territory under the pretext of fighting drug
06:44trafficking. The movement denounces that Latin American and Caribbean are suffering the attacks
06:48of U.S. imperialism, which seeks to seize their wealth and natural resources and weaken Venezuela's
06:54sovereignty. The organization points out that this war-mongering offensive by Washington is a consequence
07:00of the failure in its public and domestic policies, as well as the loss of ground in its trade and
07:05technological disputes with China. Furthermore, it urged the international community to defend peace
07:10in the Latin American and Caribbean region, fight against fascism, and uphold social justice,
07:16sovereignty, and the self-determination of peoples.
07:18The United States has neither allies nor friends. It has interests.
07:32This is what must be very clear about the United States. It has interests.
07:36I want to differentiate between the policy of the United States government
07:46and the people of the United States, where there are reactions in many sectors against what Trump is
07:52doing. I don't agree with those direct attacks on ships where innocent peoples are dying.

10:43The Venezuelan government delivered a donation of vehicles to the National Security Forces on the
10:47occasion of the 16th anniversary of the Bolivar National Police. The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace,
10:52Yosela Cabello, delivered 300 vehicles to special forces to reinforce the fight against drug trafficking,
10:57gangs, conspiracy and terrorism to guarantee public safety.
11:01Minister Cabello highlighted the work of the institutions in protecting the people.
11:05He also highlighted the efforts of the Bolivarian government to continue strengthening
11:09security agencies despite the coercive measures imposed by the United States.

14:53the possible ratification of the trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, which
14:58endangers their future. They denounced that the agreement allows the entry of South American
15:02products that do not comply with the same sanitary and environmental regulations which creates unfair
15:07competition. The agreement, which has been negotiated for more than 25 years, envisions the creation of
15:12the largest free trades on the planet, allowing the exchange of European machinery and vehicles for
15:17South American raw materials such as meat, soybeans and rice. Likewise, the Union of Unions organization
15:25warned that if their demands had not met, 1,500 tractors would descend on the capital on February 11th.
15:32Immobilization in Madrid follows the massive protests held just 24 hours earlier in Brussels,
15:37where thousands of European farmers protested against the reduction of the CAP, Common Agricultural Policy Funds.
15:47And on Friday, Russian President Biden denounced as an outright robbery the European Union's attempts
15:53to seize the country's assets. During his year-end press conference headlines results of the year,
16:00the Russian head of state stressed that what the regional bloc is trying to do constitutes an open
16:04robbery that goes beyond a theft since the attempts to steal the property are not covered. In this regard,
16:11Putin warned that the seizure would undermine trust in the eurozone since many other countries also keep their
16:17gold and currency reserves in the continent. Let's recall that the European Union has been debating
16:22tapping Russian central bank funds estimated at around $246 billion as part of what they call a

17:06in that range. Moreover, Putin affirmed that the amount is less than that of the European Union
17:11countries combined, but in terms of bilateral cooperation, the Slavic nation ranks first among
17:16European countries. He also emphasized that relations between Russia and China are a crucial factor for
17:21global stability, with steady and consistent development and cooperation.
17:31The Chinese government rejected the U.S. national defense law due to negative clauses related to the
17:36Asian giant. In this regard, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Guo Jia-kun said the U.S. bill interferes
17:41in the country's internal affairs by exaggerating the alleged Chinese threat. The spokesperson also urged
17:47Washington not to apply negative clauses related to Beijing in its legislation and warned that if the
17:52U.S. persists in this position, the Asian giant would take measures to safeguard its sovereignty,
17:57security and development. At the same time, Guo Jia-kun criticized the United States' massive sale of
18:03weapons to Taiwan, calling it a serious interference in its territorial integrity and stability.
18:21In Palestine, hundreds of families are being affected by the intense rains and floods that are hitting
18:39the gas strip. At least 17 people, including four children, have died due to the cold and rain caused by
18:44a polar storm that has been affecting Gaza since last week, causing homes to collapse and damaging
18:50dozens of tents. In this scenario, the weather conditions threaten the homes of residents of the
18:54Rashad Al-Shawa Cultural Center in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and other areas in Gaza City due to
19:00deterioration of the building structures due to Israeli attacks. These circumstances are increasing the
19:05families' fears due to a lack of security and protection.
19:14And on Friday, Israel launched a series of attacks against the cities of Han Yunis and Rafa in the
19:19southern Gaza Strip, continuing violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 11,
19:252025. Israeli fighter jets bombed eastern Han Yunis and occupation forces opened fire with automatic
19:31weapons on western neighborhoods. In addition, Zionist warships opened fire intensively on coastal areas
19:38of Rafa and on fishing boats at sea. In this context, the Palestinian authorities warned that the humanitarian
19:44situation in Gaza is becoming increasingly precarious due to the Israeli blockade and weather conditions.
19:50According to the latest figures from the Gaza Health Ministry, the detonator fever killed since the ceasefire
19:56began and has risen to 395, with a further 1,088 people wounded and 634 bodies recovered from the rubble.
20:11And on Friday, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon handed over a clear minefield to the
20:17Lebanese Armed Forces during a ceremony held near the Blue Line in Brida, southeast Lebanon. The action
20:24constitutes the first handover of a clear minefield since 2024 hostilities. The mining work involved
20:30the removal of explosives scattered over nearly 2,000 square meters and took place from August until
20:35the beginning of December, 2025. During the process, 393 mines were destroyed in coordination with the LAF.
