00:12nearly 1.3 gigawatts of new data center capacity for federal agencies. The investment will give
00:17federal agencies access to AWS AI tools, Anthropik's clawed models, NVIDIA chips,
00:23and Amazon's Tranium chips. Amazon said the investment will help agencies build custom
00:27AI solutions, optimize data sets, and improve productivity. AWS serves more than 11,000
00:33government agencies, and CEO Matt Garvin said the initiative removes technology barriers
00:38and strengthens U.S. leadership in AI. Amazon raises its 2025 capital spending forecast
00:43to $125 billion from $118 billion, as tech companies are racing to fund AI infrastructure.
