00:15Our beloved chairman, Sri Ramoji Rauhgaru, was a man of vision and extraordinary resolve.
00:22A leader who believed that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results
00:28when guided by purpose and discipline.
00:33He showed us that enterprise and ethics can coexist
00:37and that business must always serve a higher cause, the progress of the people and the nation.
00:45He often reminded us, enterprise without ethics is empty and success without service is shallow.
00:54That conviction shaped not only the Ramoji group but also generations of people who worked with him
01:03and learned from his example.
01:06The Ramoji Excellence Awards are our humble tribute to that timeless spirit.
01:11Through these awards, we honor real heroes of the society, individuals who have quietly transformed
01:21lives with courage, compassion and commitment.
01:26Each awardee has been selected from amongst over 900 profiles and those we celebrate today
01:34reflects the same principles our chairman lived by.
01:39Purpose with passion, courage with compassion and service with selflessness.
01:46We are also happy to note that four out of the seven awardees this year are women.
01:52This is something that would have deeply delighted our founder chairman.
02:02All through his life, he fought for women empowerment, championed their dignity and opened doors for their advancement.
02:13It became an integral philosophy of the Ramoji group that women's leadership and participation
02:19are essential for a progressive society and today's awardees beautifully reaffirmed that belief.
02:29In their work, we see the living spirit of India strong, selfless and full of hope.
02:38As a family and as an institution, we take this as both our duty and destiny
02:44to carry forward his dream of recognizing goodness, professional excellence and service to humanity.
02:53We intend to make this a continuing mission, expanding these awards every year
02:59to discover and honor more change makers from across the country.
