00:15After about two and a half years on the market, Mazda has given its stylish crossover a major upgrade.
00:21The biggest improvement concerns the often criticized chassis.
00:24Mazda has changed the geometry and damping of the double wishbone front suspension as well as the components of the multi-link rear suspension.
00:35This optimizes control, stability and steering precision in corners, while at the same time improving ride comfort.
00:44The new softer springs on the rear suspension, combined with firmer shock absorbers and increased suspension travel, minimize pitching and ensure a more comfortable ride.
00:54The software for the power steering, the KPC and DSC dynamic handling controls, and the EAD all-wheel drive system have also been adjusted.
01:02The Mazda CX-60 will continue to feature its powerful 3.3-liter six-cylinder diesel engine, which is available in two power outputs with either 200 or 254 horsepower and a maximum torque of 550 newm.
01:18Those who prefer something even sportier can opt for the ESY Active PHFO, a plug-in hybrid drive that delivers a system output of 327 horsepower and a system torque of 500 newton meters to the road.
01:33The plug-in hybrid also has an electric range of around 63 to 64 kilometers.
01:42A standard fit automatic transmission with an integrated electric motor ensures a comfortable driving experience, and depending on the drive system selected, the iActive AVD all-wheel drive is also included.
01:53Both drives enable trailer loads of up to two and a half tons to be towed.
02:01There are also new features in terms of equipment.
02:04In addition to the existing Homura and Takumi lines, the two top versions Homura Plus and Takumi Plus are now being added.
02:11These versions offer a full range of equipment that, according to Mazda, leaves nothing to be desired.
02:17The Homura has also been further upgraded.
02:19It now shines with black napper leather, a fine vinyl leather cover for the dashboard and decorative elements in a gunmetal finish.
02:28A highlight is the new LC10 Circon Sand Metallic, which makes the vehicle's appearance even more elegant.
02:37The Mazda CX-60 can be ordered in Germany now, and the first deliveries are planned for February 2025.
