00:00Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most jaw-dropping lip-sync
00:12performances on Drag Race Philippines that left us totally flabbergasted. Flabbergasted?
00:18It takes remarkable skill to convey emotion through a song without actually singing it.
00:36And with this lip-sync, Ms. Jade Sa and Matilda proved their talent knew no limits.
00:48Performing Gusto Ko Nang Bomitao, which was originally written and performed by Filipino singer
00:58Shireen Regas, about her journey to accepting her sexual identity. It was the perfect song for this
01:04moment. This episode was deeply personal for both queens. Matilda came out to her parents,
01:21while Ms. Jade Sa opened up further about her gender identity during Untucked. As a result,
01:27they tapped into their own emotions, channeling their pain, frustration, and triumphs without
01:32going overboard. It easily could have been a double Shantae, but in the end, Matilda was sent home.
01:53Number 9. Minty Fresh vs. Silhouette Season 1
01:56This was the ultimate family affair. After fading into the background in the music video challenge,
02:02Minty Fresh and Silhouette landed in the bottom, lip-syncing to Vernie Vargas' You'll Always Be My
02:07Number One.
02:08You'll always be my number one. You'll always be the one I love. The one I love. The rest of my life forever.
02:19The song's message held particular significance in this performance, as Silhouette and Minty Fresh
02:24are drag mother and daughter. That relationship was put to the test, as they battled to stay in the
02:30competition, while still honoring the love and support they had shown each other throughout the
02:34season. The lip-sync ended up being an emotional one, especially when they both turned to sing
02:49directly to one another. Although Minty Fresh ultimately sashayed away, we were all torn over
02:54who truly deserved to stay.
02:56You'll always be my number one. You'll always be the one I love.
03:03Number 8. Kiana vs. Yuwa
03:05Drag Race Philippines continues to raise the bar in entertaining its audience. For the bottom two
03:11performance during the lip-sync Lollapurusa smackdown, the show went above and beyond by having
03:16Lola Amour performed their song Misbehave live on stage.
03:27This made for a totally new experience, but the live band wasn't the only exciting aspect.
03:33The queens, Kiana and Yuwa, delivered two different but equally captivating renditions.
03:38Take my hand if you want to escape. It don't matter because the night is young. No regrets. Let go. Put your problems away.
03:50While Yuwa went the comedic route, dancing with the band and even snorting fake prop powder off the floor,
03:57Kiana delivered a fierce, tightly choreographed number. You'd hardly believe she had asked to be sent home just an episode earlier.
04:04I wanna miss me. Hey. Hey. Hey. Do somebody. Go ahead. I wanna miss me. Hey.
04:15The performance reached a climax, literally, when Kiana dropped to the floor and sprayed water all over the stage.
04:22Number 7. Kiana vs. Maxi Season 3
04:25Spoiler alert, Kiana appears multiple times on this list.
04:43Her lip sync for the crown against Maxi was a clash on several fronts.
04:47A provincial queen vs. a Manila queen, a relative newcomer against a veteran, a rising star eager to prove herself vs. one who already had.
05:08This contrast played out clearly during their performance.
05:11Kiana poured every ounce of energy into the song, unleashing every trick she could pull off within the bounds of a ballad.
05:18Maxi, on the other hand, gave a more measured performance, the kind that comes from knowing you have nothing left to prove.
05:24And she was right. Maxi deservedly won the season, but Kiana showed she had the talent and fire to someday reach that same level.
05:47Number 6. Angel vs. Kiana Season 3
05:50The second performance of the lip sync Lollapurusa Smackdown saw Angel and Kiana battle it out for a chance to avoid landing in the bottom two.
06:08At this point in the competition, it was already well established that both queens were fierce performers and that the winning margin would be razor thin.
06:17That did turn out to be the case.
06:18Both Angel and Kiana pushed their skills to the limits to give the audience a show.
06:33From wig and outfit reveals to high-flying jumps, splits, and kicks, there was no shortage of tricks in this three-minute showdown.
06:40Hey!
06:43Good!
06:43In the end, Angel narrowly edged out Kiana.
06:54Although under different circumstances, Kiana could have easily taken the win.
06:59Number 5. Brigadine vs. Vinyas Deluxe
07:02Slaysian Royale
07:03Brigadine and Vinyas Deluxe have come a long way since competing on the first season of Drag Race Philippines.
07:18Their sisterhood was on full display throughout Slaysian Royale, but even more so when they had to lip sync against each other to RuPaul's Queendom.
07:26At first, Brigadine seemed to be outshining Vinyas, strutting across the stage and showcasing her excellent performance skills.
07:40But then Vinyas ramped things up with a series of clever props, first popping a balloon filled with confetti, then briefly exiting the stage only to return with a hairdryer.
07:49From that point, it turned into a hilarious duo act, with both queens playfully blowing each other away.
08:03This wasn't just the highlight of the night, but of the entire season.
08:06Number 4. Maxi vs. Zimba Ding
08:17Season 3
08:18When two powerhouse performers clash, you know it's going to be unforgettable.
08:23Maxi and Zimba Ding took the stage for the third performance of the lip sync Lollapurusa Smackdown,
08:29keeping the energy sky high after the first two rounds.
08:32Shh, come on now
08:33From the opening note, there were tricks and stunts being displayed, as both queens came out swinging with non-stop tricks and stunts.
08:47Zimba Ding used her flexibility to her advantage, twisting, flipping, dropping into splits, and even pulling a move straight out of The Exorcist.

09:10And when the two hit synchronized splits, reminiscent of Alyssa and Tatiana's iconic moment on All Stars 2,
09:16the judges couldn't help but erupt in cheers.

09:35The Season 1 finale of Drag Race Philippines gave us several memorable lip-syncs, but this
09:41one stood out above the rest.
09:43In order to snatch the crown, Marina Summers and Precious Paula Nicole battled it out to
09:48Sirena, a beloved song among the queer Filipino community.
09:52Ako ay ubod ng ganda.
09:55Ako'y isang sirena.
09:59Bahit anong gawin nila bandera ko'y ditutumba.

10:54Season 3
10:55To many fans, the third season of Drag Race Philippines remains one of the most entertaining
11:09of the entire franchise, and that's largely thanks to its electrifying lip-syncs.
11:14Perhaps the best of the season came in the very first episode, when Kiana and Zimba Ding
11:19faced off after being named the top two queens.
11:30Every moment of this performance had viewers' eyes darting from one corner of the stage to
11:35the other, ensuring not to miss a single thing.
11:38If it wasn't Kiana throwing her legs every which way, it was Zimba Ding dropping into
11:42a flawless dip from a squat.
11:54There was a lot going on, but it never felt messy or out of place.

13:42Bernie and Captivating Kat Kat
13:44landed in the bottom two for the first time
13:57With the crown justifiably within reach for either queen,
14:00they knew they had to give everything to stay in the competition
