00:00Rachel Reeves is somebody who's campaigned for selective licences in other parts of the country, including in Leeds, in her constituency.
00:07So it seems unlikely that she would have not have been aware of the requirement of a selective licence, but that's what she said on Wednesday.
00:14On Thursday, that turns out not to have been the case. It turns out her agent did tell her and her husband that the requirement to have a selective licence.
00:23And then now she's saying, well, we asked the agent to do it and they didn't do it.
00:27So we think given the fact that the story she has given in terms of what she knew has changed, we think an investigation should happen.
00:38Further, it should be not simply Rachel Reeves' word, she's not simply taken at face value, a proper investigation should take place.
00:47Now, if those are the facts of the matter and that doesn't change, then I think that Rachel Reeves doesn't need to resign.
00:53But if it's worse than that, I think her position would be untenable.
